Some friend called me for a drink a few days ago. Haven't seen him in a long time so we went to some pub. When we got there he was "like lets play a pool, I don't know how to play it ether..." He demolished me 5 games in a row. Yesterday the same. I never played a pool and I was rusty, but I played it for fun, not to win, so it was ok. We were chatting while we were playing and drinking beer, and it turns out that he have been playing it for some time. Today before I met up with him I watched pool lesson videos on KZfaq for half an hour. I watched this one before I left the house. IT HELPED. At middle of the first match he realized that he wasn't so far a head of me anymore. He stopped talking, got so serious, but it didn't help. I won the first one. For next hours, he didn't speak, we didn't speak. We were just playing a game, one man against another. After one hour it was even, 2-2. So the fifth match was for a winner. It was all in stake. He was winning through the whole match. Odds where against me. He was left with only a black ball while I still had 3 balls to go. Some how I caught him up, but by that time black ball was next to his hole. I knew if I fucked up this shot this would be the end of it. So I smacked white ball and it pushed black one away from his hole. Then in next shot the made a mistake. Balls aligned with my hole, and I knew that with bit of luck I could end a game. The pressure was high, my palms were sweating and my hart wanted to jump out of my chest. It was a clear shot, but still... I didn't wont to lose this one. There comes a point in your life when you realize: Who matters. Who never did. Who wont anymore.. And who always will. So, in a brief moment it was all clear. I dint worry about things form my past or future, In my mind there was only stick, two balls and a hole. While I was getting down to make my shoot universe stood still and I had the all time of this world to use the knowledge I gained in this video. I made my shot and I won! He stood cold as a stone but I knew he was boiling inside. He lost form underdog, and he is a type of guy who hates loosing. We paid for our drinks, shook our hands and said goodbye. Guess who wont call me next two weeks.

Duff, What a wonderful story...! I have seldom gone onto my youtube channel much in the last year, so I didn't see your story until just now. Thank you for taking the time to write of your hard won victory. It humbles me that I was able to be of assistance to your learning of this fine gentleman's game. Thank you again. God Bless, and happy shooting... Lou

Three possible things: 1) You should Chalk the tip of your cue stick "EVERY" shot so you have better traction. 2) The tip of your cue stick might need to be sanded (with 80-Grit sandpaper) to the curve of a dime (US) 3) You might be hitting the Cue Ball too low. Remember, "Only ONE cue tip's width from the center of the Cue ball"... Keep practicing >>>

Thank you for making this video. My boyfriend is incredible at pool and when we play I only get 2 or 3 shots before he wins the game. We’ve started making a deal where he can only make trick shots, so that I get a few more shots in (I still lose lol) and he gets more practise and better at shots he wouldn’t normally take in a regular game. Yesterday I watched this video, and last night when we played pool, I was able to see the table differently, and out of 12 games I only lost once! My boyfriend was completely blown away and couldn’t understand how I get so much better literally overnight. So thank you for helping me show up my boyfriend!! 😂😂

@jrarreola27285 жыл бұрын
Good at everything huh? Lol, that's hard to believe unless youre a pro or a really good player. Pool is a tough game to be really "good" at in everything. Takes time and dedication to be considered a good pool player.

All cues are different lengths depending on the player. The main concept is to place your grip hand at a comfortable balance point in order to distribute the weight of the cue more evenly. Keep practicing. "Practice makes perfect"...

@zephyr36708 жыл бұрын
im assuming that the one cue tip width applies to Every Sized tip. Because Currently im Using a 6mm Tip... Or do you or is it, a Full cue tip and a Half, Due to the Size of my Cue.
