Not a good idea. These will cling to the cat & he will eat some when trying to clean them off & they are toxic.

Seriously do not do this, I remember seeing an article and pictures in vet archives of both dogs and cats stomachs cut open full of this exact stuff. Apparently it can smell good to them or something and some will consume it. Don’t leave your animals around this stuff.
