I was thinking the same because the quality of the sculpt and paint come into play too and PUPs are supposed to be affordable. Current PUPs have paint errors and messy sculpts that people overlook bc of the price but with XLs it won’t be the case anymore.

This figure would work out just being in the 100 dollars range unless they added more details like other goodsmilecompany figures such as her star dresses like Capricorn, Sagittarius, Leo, Aries, etc (Hopefully they make that soon)

agreed most the scale figures i buy usually go around the $150-220 range, hardly any of my scales outside of the 1/4 bunnys/massive set pieces hardly go out that range, this is honestly just make more money with less work, pop up also have very minimal detail

i just hope they increase the quality for that price, cause pop up parade figures dont have a lot of details compared to other scaled figures but if anything that guts does look enticing and i wouldnt mind a blown up dark magician girl

yup other scaled figures cost that high but they have detail and shadowing put into the designs, these are just bigger figures with minimal detail for the price of a quality figure.

0:48 I wish this Lucy got the XL size rather than the current one. The XL is just a bigger overpriced lower quality version. The face looks way off compared to the smaller ones they released and they took away her whip and sleeves and just changed her hair. I hope this won't doesn't have the same problem of the key falling off too. Lucy is my # 1 Waifu but I will be passing on this one, it's better to just get the Freeing Bunny Lucy one since they are around the same price range. This figure should be like $100 not $230 lol

Are the bases going to be the same as regulat Pop Up Parades?? This is one of the main reasons why I don't buy PUPs anymore. In the video we can kinda see that the PUP L figures seem like they will have the same base :/

Istg if they do the hetalia line in L I’m going to cry cause I JUST ordered them 😭 Really am glad I held off on the FT line and a few others though, as just of today I now realized how tiny PUPs are. I haven’t actually received mine yet, but my brain decided to finally look and register that 17cm/6” … I actually do how they come up with newer PUPs for the L and not just rehashing the reg ones. Like an Ewrin Smith or Hange Zoe would be dope ❤️

To be fair bigger figures are easier to detail So it may have a better Quality. Than regular pops. Most 1/4 figures out there are freeing and they all go around $300, the latest nekopara/binding 1/4 figures are around $400. however most of freeing are the regular boring bunny suit. Honestly was expecting the XL Pop around $150. I would need to have one in hand to compare it to my 1/4 figures.

Still confused by the L/XL of this line. The whole point of the PUP was to be decent quality figures for an *affordable price* . Making L/XL completely erases that, especially when it looks like some figures will be exclusive to the L/XL line. If I'm going to pay anywhere between $80-$240 for these, I may as well just buy a scale figure.
