Apparently AH is going for the long con. She's dedicated to it. It's sad that she thinks she represents all women. Any person that has dealt with abuse and dv, whether they be men women or other, will continue to stand up for themselves. AH thinks she is more important than she is, she represents herself only. She's only embarrassing herself further.

My mother was beaten by my ex-step-father for 17 years. She literally has dents in her skull from where he hit her with objects including a tennis racket. She was married to a monster in a time where men beating their wives was not even considered a crime! I remember police coming when she was black and blue and bleeding and them taking him for a walk to cool off. It was a living hell and he threatened to kill her if she ever left. And she believed him. She was finally able to escape when he was out of state one time. She was terrified that he would find her and carry out his threats. I had her watch Amber's testimony. Within a few minutes she said, "THAT BITCH IS LYING!" For one, my mother said she's sure there were probably good times with her ex, but she certainly doesn't remember them and would never talk about how wonderful it was in the beginning. She would be angry and fearful of sitting in front of him. And she said she definitely doesn't remember minute details of any one incident because they were all so horrible. She doesn't WANT to remember the details and would never, ever recount her experiences anywhere close to the way Amber Heard told her lies. Amber Heard is a disgrace to any abuse survivor!!

This is almost exactly what I said watching her. I can’t describe every little detail of the abuse I endured at the hands of my ex. I certainly don’t reminisce on how the relationship was prior to the abuse. No real victim would. She’s a terrible person and a terrible actress.

Exactly, if she wanted evidence that proved anything, she would have at least taken pictures of each injury as they happened and after a few days to show the full extent of it. Not taken pictures of spilled wine and a bottle on the floor or of a sleeping man with icecream running down his leg. I have never been through dv and hopefully never will, but photo evidence is the very least I would do! Are my thoughts a reality or no way could this be a possibility?

I agree. At my company they changed our HR policies last week because of this trial. We used to all take women at their word when they asserted claims of 5exual harassment. But now management will no longer trust what anyone says. If someone claims anything like this happened they are now told they can go get an attorney at their own expense or they can call the cops because management will not be getting involved.

I was reading earlier that since the end of the trial, a counselor that works with DV victims noted the increase in the amount of men coming forward asking for help and sharing their stories and going as far as saying they gained courage because of Johnny. I think that is amazing!!!

I’m a survivor and I would have NEVER talked to my abuser the way Amber talked to Johnny. I quite literally would have lost my head. Once I said something kind of snarky under my breath and I lost a chunk of hair and a windshield over it. It makes me so angry that she claims to be a victim for attention and claims this is a setback for woman’s rights. Steph is right, it’s not a club you want to be in. She definitely stands alone and I won’t watch or read anything she’s in ever again. Well, except forZombie Land maybe,because she turns into a Zombie and dies in the beginning.

I dealt with the narcissistic abuser for quite awhile- I am still dealing with this person working to control how people view me because I rejected him- 10 years later. It can be crippling, debilitating and send someone into a forward spiral of depression- I'm just taking about the after effects of getting away, not the actual abuse. She is foaming at the mouth because she no longer has her supply. I'm truly happy for Johnny, that he was able to escape. Justice has been served!

This isn’t taking survivors of dv backwards, this is human rights. The right to not be abused in any relationship no matter the gender! Equality for all! Its about time because there are a growing number of abusive women now (I’m a woman so just facts no bias) Something needed to be done about women and men being treated differently when abuse is abuse, it goes across all genders, races and all backgrounds. She is angry that everyone sided with Johnny and did not believe her story. So now she has to bully everyone else by trying to shame them and make them feel guilty by playing the poor hard done by victime (that she says she is not). What she is really doing is showing us the true aggressive domineering Amber who likes to get her own way being confronted with a wall of public opinion. Her supporters in Team Amber are not helping her by fanning the flames of her delusion. They are just prolonging her agony. She needs to realise that she is the one who has a problem rather than everyone else before she can get the help she needs. Its a hard call whether she will be able to do that whilst she continues to spit and hiss at Johnny's everyday achievements at getting on with his life.

Yup, it drove my ex nuts he couldn't control me anymore. Couldn't find out where I lived, tried to claim in court it *must be* bc I was living with someone else. Tried to stop me from finishing my Bachelors degree. Etc. Well, the judge appreciated my cat Leo being the only other besides my daughter joke and never forced me to give my address. I finished that degree and I'm earning my MBA right now. I control my own finances and my own life.

I don't think a restraining order will stop slander. Isn't there some way to stop someone from doing this??? A legal avenue to take? So horrible I cannot imagine what he's actually been through. A hell of a lot more than any of us will ever really know. We just have seen and heard some of the highlights, but the full story only the two of them know.

Omg me aswell I'm 25yrs myself my abuser has been dead four yrs and I still get freaked out over certain things I can't watch soaps when there highlighting DV I can't watch anything violent on TV to men or women my grown ass children from our marriage have been through hell because I'm so overprotected of them my abuser got away with attempted murder because I was way to scared to give evidence against him he was charged and found guilty of gbh just on the grounds of the police and doctors report of that night and it would have been attempted murder if I was strong enough to speak up against him but I couldn't and hear she was strutting her stuff in court like that scribbling things down handing them to lawyers laughing argumentive been disrespectful to the judge the jury she baffled me

ANY woman who has ACTUALLY been abused would NEVER have been able to talk to her supposed abuser the way Amber Heard did on those recordings, that's what really did it for me. I had a feeling something was fishy, but once she took the stand I instinctively knew with no doubt. I never prayed harder for that jury to see it and obviously she did too. TRULY abused women WALK ON EGGSHELLS, 24/7, and they rarely get the nerve to scream off the cuff like that and when they do, it's because they've been pushed to it and outsiders looking in CAN SEE AND HEAR that element without knowing a damn thing about a damn thing about a damn thing. She never winced or cowered or made a single submissive statement asking him to stop, "please no", "please, please, i love you dont hurt me please" .... NOTHING even remotely resembling the cries and terror of a woman being intimidated or desperately trying to avoid escalation or in true fear because she's physically in danger. As far as I'm concerned she owes Warner Brother's too for being the shittiest actress I've seen in a long time. She's just an absolute psychopath. Dr. Curry could not have been more spot on with her assessments and diagnosis of Amber. CPS, please take that poor child from her too before she passes on her "traits".

I am so outraged that anyone would feel it’s acceptable to use other peoples horrible DV/SV events to exploit their own nefarious plans and that shortsighted people choose to ignore facts and support the actual perpetrators of DV/SV. She wasn’t Narcissistic. She was diagnosed with BPD and HPD (Borderline PD and Histrionic PD) It’s not helpful to throw around classified disorders such as Narcissism: which is actually quite uncommon.

Definitely, I was a victim of dv for 8 years. It was so bad this man almost killed me multiple times. Broke both my eye sockets three times each and I have the medical records for it. He punched me once and put my lip through my teeth I still have scars. And he didn’t have any rings on and it broke my face literally. So I don’t understand her not one but. She’s a lying sack of s*** & for her to say that is wrong and frustrating. Like you don’t know how the f it feels to actually be abused you only know how to abuse. I’m glad the jury saw pass her stupid foolishness and sided with Johnny. Cus she’s just wrong on so many levels for this and I pray to god her acting career ceases to exist from here on out.

I too am a victim of narcissistic abuse and it is about time this kind of abuse gets spotlighted. Both men and women have these abusive personality disorders and the spotlight needs to be shined on them. #1 reason for abusive relationships in the first place. Cluster B personality disorders are the cause. DV is the symptom. You want to stop DV, Lets address the cause.

When I went through my divorce NO ONE lawyers, judges, or friends understood what I had lived through. My lawyer said to me...its not against the law to be an a$$hole. I have recordings, of the "agruments" but no one listened to them or thought they were relevant. (I recorded so I could go back and know I was remembering correctly...gaslighting is the devils play.) This woman had the world as her oyster - ANYTHING she wanted materially, and a man with a sensitive, giving soul who loved her - and she threw it all down the toilet due to her greed, narcissism and twisted jealousy. I hope Johnny is able to find a woman who truly appreciates his giving heart and that he does not give up on finding a woman who will be a true and complete compliment to him.

I love how people think that her losing this trial is such a problem for victims of abuse or women or whoever but they (including amber) seem to forget this was a Civil trial, not criminal. She never had him arrested, (bc there was nothing criminal for her to report) she just talked hella shit and in doing so backed him into a corner giving him little other option than to come out swinging (figuratively of course!)

As a survivor, that is easier said than done. We tend to, to be more precise, HIDE from it. You are right we wouldnt want to talk about it but we live with it, sometimes, forever. It is a part of who we are. We actually need to STOP hiding from it and bring it to the light of day. The "Monster" inside of Johnny has nothing to do with drugs or alcohol, those are how he copes. All abused had a monster put inside of us that day. Mine was cultivated for 60 yrs.
