Poppin John is good. Word! I been admiring his abilities for years - but..being the best of all going allawayz back to 84'?!!? U forgettin a few LEGENDS hmm? If you EVER get see Taco (in his prime) or Wiggles (who is STILL in prime shape) in the "zone", bro, I promise you even John gotta admit the amount of style & talent that just oozes out of their poppin is still unmatched. (RIP) Animation was another lit brother too who came a couple yrs after. Poppin over the years has become more technically difficult and full of "tricky"/novelty, animated type moves but has lost most all of it's stylish swag. Poppers I like currently are John (so smooth), Nonstop (lit !!), Fiction before TV, & Kida is SO beyond his age along with the other 2 in his group Art Of Technique. Plz dont take my opinion as an attempt to "diss" ur msg, we all bro's of Hip-Hop bruh! 😎 HIP-HOP YA DON'T STOP!

Poppin John has been my favorite for a few years now, which is why I have mad respect for Jay Groove for not giving up or gassing out. Poppin John has epic control and the way that I see in very few, so to even accept the battle is high risk. Respect for hanging in there, Jay Groove, and props for Poppin John for doing what I always expect from someone at his caliber.

Jay groove needs to tighten up his style a little and dress more for the way he moves his body. You notice john always comes out in long sleeve and long pants? You notice how all of the old schoolers dress like that? It makes your popping look more animated.

Jay Groove was mad nice he has great concepts and kept the creativity going the whole 2 rounds. He could use some work on cleaning them up and making them smoother though. Good job

After 2 years this still one of my favorites Poppin battles of all time! But Jay Groove is a really good dancer but he misses the beat to often so that john tooked that battle easily but all in all both were great!

Paul has a point... popping John has his style that he created. Just like all the rest of the dancers that are worth mentioning. There are some that follow the golden rule but others just sit and watch youtube all day to learn to dance.
