I made them today mine came up to 18 muffins not as big as hers but I’ll say this super easy to do and delicious I did more poppy seeds since we love them and more lemon juice came out soooo moist and tasty not too sweet perfect

Hi Valentina! How are you? Great recipe, this one. It reminds me one cake I've done once, but it was an orange, almond and poppy seeds. The seeds give such a beautiful look on the muffins and cakes. I love the way you massage the lemon zest into the sugar. Sometimes I'll blitz the zest and sugar together in a mini food processor, but I like your method better. Less mess and less dishes to clean! Lol Plus... your way is more fun AND you get to lick your fingers 😋 I'd rather wash my hands than more dishes! 😂

Ciao Valentina, Come Stai. When I was working in Manhattan I would get a coffee and a muffin before I got on the Staten Island Ferry ⛴️ and it was a lemon - poppy. It did have a denser texture that yours. I like my muffins fluffy like yours. I always have Poopy seeds in my cupboard because I like to make onion poppy rolls for sandwiches. It was sooo nice to see your smiling face again. I remember my baking teacher in culinary school telling us to grind the zest into the sugar like you did. We did that when we made the cake for our graduation ceremony. We made an orange 🍊 buttercream frosting and used it in the sugar for the cake too. That was many years ago. I'm curious to know what your shirt said, I tried to read it but your hair was covering it. Is that your new line of shirts.? Good to see you again. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day. @@HowTasty Ciao Valentina, Come Stai.! The muffins you get on the Staten Island Ferry were not of the highest quality. I've heard of the show Stranger Things but never watched. I don't have any TV. Baking time depends on the size of your loaf pan...at 160°C for about 50 minutes, check with a toothpicks, it's ready when it comes out clean.
