How To Make Muthia At Home | Popular Gujarati Snack Recipe | Dudhi Na Muthiya Recipe | Doodhi Muthiya | लौकी की मुठिया
SIDE DISH TO GO WITH MITHIA : • PALAK KI KADHI | पालक ...
Ingredients:
- Water
- 1 ½ cup of wheat flour
- 2 tbsp of gram flour
- 1 tbsp of fine semolina /sooji
- -1 tsp coriander
- 1tsp cumin seed powder
- 1.5 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp jiggery powder/ sugar
- 1tsp ginger & chilli paste
- 1/4 tsp meetha soda
- 1tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1tbsp coriander leaves
- 1 cup grated bottle gourd ( lauki )
- salt to taste
For Tadka:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 dry Red Chilli
Method:
- Boil a pot of water and over it place the greased sieve on the top and cover it with a lid
- In a bowl mix together wheat flour, gram flour, semolina, coriander & cumin seed powder, red chili powder,
, turmeric powder, jaggery, ginger & chili paste, soda bicarb, lemon juice, oil, coriander leaves, grated bottle gourd ( lauki ), and salt
- Apply oil to your palm and make cylindrical roll of the dough and place it on the steamer and let it steam for 20 -25 minutes
- Let them cool down completely and then chop them into thin slices
- Heat some oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves, red chilies and add the muthia's and toss them up. Let them cook for 3-4 minutes Garnish with coriander leaves
- Muthia is ready to be served!
