Kitty meows just when the Potter’s hands are busy and full. 😂 Kitty busting pots in the other room. 😂 Kitty says NOW! 😂 Btw, great work!

I am a "hobby potter" from England and love watching professionals creating art forms. You have great control and strength throughout the making of this bowl. It's the first time I've seen someone using a flame whilst working on the pot at the same time, it's intriguing and very interesting. I hope you will make a "follow up videos" of trimming, decorating and firing of this beautiful bowl for all to see. Thank you for sharing this with us :)

OMG, the circle is almost perfectly round--that's hard with such a big bowl. Master craftsmanship--and the fire to keep it dry and rigid as you work along to keep the shape--I never thought of that--excellent skill! BUT where's the finished product?!

I'm like, watching every movement that he made with rapids' attention. For fear of missing something. Great way to learn how to shape clays into large bowls. Ps: Why do I keep thinking that this bowl is a large ramen bowl?

It's like watching a live version of 'Simon's Cat' ... lol
Use a gas burner to harden the clay. It is difficult to make a shape if the clay is soft.

That’s one way to figure out how thick your bowl bottom is.

To me the bowl is done 30 mins before the video ends. Anything after that is just fiddling.

That's a lot of clay to move with just your hands , try using your forearm and the heel of your hand when compressing downwards, it's much easier when moving around a lot of clay
