Pork Vindaloo and Kitcheri

Pearl's Pork Vindaloo is full of delicious flavours, it's a hot/sour spicy dish that can be eaten with naan bread, chapati or kitchari.
Increadiants
1kg Belly Pork
1 Pod Garlic
2 & Half inch Ginger
1 Tsp Turmeric
2 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 & Half Tbls Jerra (Cumin)
2 & half Tbls Rye (Mustard)
1 Ladle Spoon Vinegar
Dry Garam Masala
4-5 Cinnamon Sticks
1 Tsp Pepper Corns
1 Tsp Cloves
Salt to taste

My partner is Anglo/Indian ( I'm English) and this was his favourite dish that his mother used to cook every Christmas. She passed away 20 yrs ago and this is my first time trying this recipe. Wish me luck!

This is really interesting. To start with I thought 'Surely Portuguese-Goan?' but the technique is somewhat different to the recipes I've used that claim that. I'll have to try.
