I loved the sound of the 911's glorious Flat-6 sound (whether if TT or not), bc they sound beautiful, not to mention, Porsches are beautiful cars, I'm impressed with their cars.

#JayRead, I’m not sure if you’ve seen this video before, but it was my favorite Porsche 996 short clip and exhaust system, especially under acceleration.

i will contact you guys for my 996 3.6 but first i need to save money but it will defently be a Scart Classic ! It's a 3 hour ride to Goussainville from where i live (Netherlands) but it will be worth it.

The 996 car's Achilles' heel was a small but vital engine component called the IMS, or Intermediate Shaft bearing. Highly recommend to replace it as soon as possible by an upgrade aftermarket kit, LN engineering kit use ball bearings, they utilize ceramic and steel for their bearings, which have an increased load rating for more heavy duty use, the full cost for a kit and all required tools is a little less than $950.

a real porsche is that one that its a coupe, and not those shitty panameras and cayens. I guess next they will do Porsche wagon or minivan. poor porsche... Ferdinand if would seen noyadays what they have done with this company he will prefer do die again after he will kill them all.

Non sense.....20 years ago, Porsche had two models...the 911 and the Boxster... these 2 passenger cars appealed to a extremely small customer base....and they were teetering on bankruptcy...Nevertheless, Ferdinand would be cool with the present line....Besides Porsche used to make Farm Tractors!!

996 carrera 4 probably one of the worst Porsches ever made, unless you consider the Cayenne a Porsche.

Daniel Carusillo why? I don’t own one but I know that the GT3 is based on the carrera 4 because of the increased structural rigidity over the carrera 2, has more power and lighter weight than its 993 counterpart, and even though the tiptronic gearbox wouldn’t be my choice it’s again vastly improved over the 993. Surely a tiptronic 993 or 964 would be the worst 911 of all time, but I’d still rather have one of those over a tiptronic 2.5 boxster 986, or an automatic 928 or 944, or 968, or 924... I guess my point is that Porsche have made a significant amount of stinkers unless you have rose tinted glasses. Likewise the Porsche’s that I have driven (993 Carrera, 996 Turbo, 997 Turbo, 991 Turbo, Macan S, Macan Turbo Performance Pack, 997 GT3, 991 GT3, 991.1 GT3 RS, Panamera, Panamera Turbo, Panamera Turbo E Hybrid, Cayenne, Cayenne Turbo, 992 Carrera 4S), have all been fantastic cars. I would suggest that a 996 Carrera 4 tiptronic is far removed from the worst Porsche of all time haha.
