Welcome Automotive Fanatics and Porsche fans to my channel, The Automotive Fanatic. Words cannot properly describe how beautiful a Porsche 981/718 Cayman or Boxster is. Innovator PorscheMaster took this work of art one step further by developing a light bar to the tail of the car. This adds a sexy flair and additional safety component.
What do you think of this 30min modification to my GT4. The look compliments the lines of the tail and ties both brake lights together exceptionally well.

That light bar is great. I ordered mine and had it installed about 2 weeks ago I also ordered the G T4 taillights Fenders a lot of stuff. I have a boxer , so it looks great

Hey Peter, Hope all is well. I actually like the light bar a lot. It does add a modern updated look and definitely a heightened degree of safety. My 24 BMW M4 Competition XDrive build arrived last week. Exterior in Dravit Grey with full leather Silverstone interior. I just dropped it off Friday afternoon for paint correction, full PPF and Ceramic coating. Should have it back this upcoming Friday in time for our local Cars and Coffee on Saturday. Taking my 992 911 C4S and the new M4. Should be a good time. Chat later my friend

Always great to hear from you James and again, HUGE congrats on the future land speed beast; M4. When you can, shoot me some photos once everything is done. I'd love to see both of your cars at the next C&C. BTW, I'll be thinking about you and the Mrs this weekend when I attend F1. Maybe next year we can attend Miami together.

Sorry Erik, been busy @ F1. You can get the bonus light setup from the same vendor who sells the lightbar.

Don't you have to adjust the height to which wing collapses? I have seen an installation video for 981 and the adjustment had to done there to avoid squeezing the lightbar.

Great question. In this video, the sample vehicle was a GT4 which does not have a moveable rear wing. On the standard 981 Cayman, it would require that you make small adjustments just like you mentioned.
