A day in the life of the Audi RS2 Avant - the record-breaking car returns to its birthplace in Zuffenhausen. Developed collaboratively by Audi and Porsche, it became both the world’s fastest estate car and the first Audi to smash the 250 km/h barrier when it launched in 1994, further wowing with its combination of the space of a family car with a turbocharged driving experience. Join Michael Hölscher, head of the RS2 project at Porsche at the time, and Ralf Friese, corporate historian at Audi, on this very special drive.

Well literally Audi is owned by Porsche itself( as we all know the whole great VW empire group is owned by the Porsche family itself) and all the modern era Audi motorsports victory was also made by Porsche support(the Lemans24 team was literally the previous Porsche works team handed over to Audi after Porsche left) Some might even view Audi’s racing team or Audi itself as a Porsche’s second tier tech brand(which is wrong) but anyway Volkswagen and Audi are all part of Porsche’s tech and history…so whether they are proud of it or not it’s all as much as Porsche history:)

Audi of America should learn from this and support these old vehicles. Its outraging and grotesque when Audi is posing with old, iconic cars, yet dont let the owners in the USA purchase parts from Audi Tradition directly. Go Porsche !!!

Lol..you may know that Porsche family owns the VW group which means literally Porsche owns Lamborghini thru BW-Audi chain order .. and furthermore…since last year Porsche is even managing and in charge in part of Lamborghini new development.. You’ll het to see the Porsche tuned PDK and hybrid parts in the new Lambo Aventador successor wait and see

As a die hard watercooled VW/Audi fanatic I don't much care for the squashed beetles but my goodness that RS2 is remarkable! Pretty badass indeed. 💖 I just chopped 1/400 URS6 roof off for my world's first D2 A8L Avant. 💖 Both chassis have the same width trunk/hatch widths and taillight height. Stay tuned folks. 😉

Audi's own sport quattro that hit the market a decade before the rs2 would run circles around it. The collaboration was more of a marketing venture than simply trying to make a fast car.

The gear bar should be present at all times. It gives the impression that the car is not broken. On the other hand, Korean cars break down after removing the gear bar, so people don't buy them. Koreans hate Korean cars. Perfect porsche 👍 and audi 👍

To be honest, wouldn't it be better for energy companies to directly produce eco-friendly gasoline rather than electric vehicles? I think you can make it. Even if the charging time of an electric vehicle is reduced, it is likely to break down, the electricity may be cut off, and even if a driverless car is made, the computer is not secure, but it is a car security problem..

If you really want to sell more cars than anyone else, let me know. Let's stick to 5 things. The car design should be nice or unique, there should be no breakdowns. It should be easy to manage. It shouldn't have complex functions. It's possible to stick to these 4 things

It is a mistake for an Italian brand to make two SUVs of similar design. We need to increase the number of sedans and sports cars. SUVs cannot increase brand value. It is only good for moving luggage when moving around the house. A different design SUV would be fine
