Port Places brings life and heritage stories to ferry crossings and port towns around the Irish Sea: Dublin Port, Rosslare Harbour, Holyhead, Pembroke Dock and Fishguard. The app was developed by UCC’s Ports, Past and Present project in partnership with the University of Lancaster’s Safarnama app team, led by Deborah Sutton.
Our App experiences currently range from an atmospheric Dublin theatrical tour, to a Pembroke Dock Town Trail, Fishguard’s Last Invasion, Rosslare Harbour tour and ferry crossing experiences (downloadable for when internet is not available on a ferry journey). However, you can also add new experiences for your business, work and community. This workshop will take you through the process of creating a free publicly-accessible set of locations where your audience can follow and learn from the images, text and other media (audio, video) that you have shared.
