I updated the design. Someone left a comment on the old video that made sense. Added a amp meter. Used to test trailers without a truck.

That is really cool! In addition to being able to tell if there is an open circuit to one of the magnets, it would be nice to see the current draw of the lighting system. On some vehicles if the tipm detects over current, it has to be reset by a code reader...

After seeing your box, I looked on line for old school panel mount dc amp meters, and saw that unit you have. That looks better, since you can see voltage droop too.

Do you have a parts list anywhere for this? I guess the hard to find one would be the volt meter (if its just a separate screen and not just a volt meter hidden in the box) Lol

Hi, it is a separate screen with built-in volt meter. I got it from ebay. It's good to 60-80 amps I think. Each brake should be less than 10.
