I agree yet disagree also. I think an anime would be great and would be able to add more plot. On the other hand, it would also slightly ruin the original music video’s / short film’s impact on it’s viewer’s feels when it reveals the backstory of Rin and her tragic past that she forgot about until she started getting memories. Still a series would be nice if it was able to give as much of an impact as the original video ^w^

@@eclypse1779 I agree, it would cheapen the experience quite a bit. It's a wonderful story and I love it so much but a full series runs the risk of ruing something so great. I also don't see how a full series could work besides the background information as it's just her in the world. That being said, if Porter were to direct another anime it would definitely become a great one. He is super good at it as evident from shelter. That's what I'm hoping for!

Though it might be nice, most all of you will come to regret the decision of watching the anime. There is so much that is told in the music video that fills you with emotion and gives you the entire story. Not a second of the music video went to waste, though with the anime, you will see the majority of it be non important filler as there is only so much that you can make into a series from a 5 minute long clip. An anime will ruin the special feeling you get from watching the music video. It just won't work if you know what I mean.

Everyone keeps saying a anime would be a bad idea but I feel like it could definitely add more to the plot of Rin and how’s she’s stuck in space. Maybe an Alien colony comes to her aid and she is officially one of the last humans? Or maybe she is found by a bigger space craft on on board are other humans who managed to escape before the asteroid hit.
