59:20 That throwback to Fresh Static Snow at the end of Blossom is truly something special. For those who don't know, here is a quote from Porter about what Fresh Static Snow means to him: Fresh Static Snow to me, is about this idea that I was really obsessed with my loneliness. About this idea that there necessarily exists a best, romantic partner for every person in the world, somewhere out there. There are billions of people out there and you will only meet a fraction of them, and to me the likely hood that you’ll ever meet a person that will make you that happy is infinitesimal. There’s a very small chance. If you really consider the idea that, that person is out there, exist and is walking, eating their breakfast cereal, looking all cute. And the notion that you will never know each other, made me really sad. And this song was me dedicating something to whoever that person is. Maybe they’ll hear it, how fucking cool will that be?

So I traveled to San Francisco by myself just to experience my first ever Second Sky in person and I cannot tell you the roller coaster of emotions I've felt being there that day. The giddiness of getting on my flight, to waiting in line with hundreds of people, the costumes and outfits, etc. Bawling my eyes out when Look at the Sky started playing, singing with the crowd, dancing, socializing with people for the first time in what feels like forever. Truly a once in a lifetime experience for me. And everyone was SO NICE! Thank you Porter for this experience, and all of the people who made the day amazing despite me being there solo!

Much respect, my 19 yr old son introduced me. While he hides it mostly, he has an emotional self, and is seeing it is ok to feel, imagine, and hurt for others. In fact, it is necessary. The world needs more of that, empathy!

Based dad, I think your son introducing you to Porter's music was a way of opening up a bit more about his emotional side with you. I respect how much you care about your son and his interests and how he's feeling, a lot of dads including my own didn't really make much of an attempt to understand who we are growing up. Missed seeing this live because I tested positive for covid a week before I was supposed to fly to CA and then also missed the nurture live tour in Seattle because I had a bad day of migraine and I couldn't fight my physical body to get up and go. Both tickets went unused and one of them was given to me as a birthday present. Seeing this set uploaded for us to watch for free is my redemption. Still wish I was there! Thank you for making a fellow feel :')

I'll never forget that visual trick during Musician, but more importantly, when Unfold was woven so FLAWLESSLY into Language. That was the last thing I expected and when it happened I actually cried. I'll never forget the sheer fucking hype and joy when the buildup to Divinity started. Such an insanely clever and creative homage to the way he crept up on the internet and the exact way so many people experienced his music for the first time with the visual remakes of his Worlds tour. I'm listening to this in school and it's causing me to think of the feeling of not being alone anymore, as if there's a safe place waiting for you. The song is not shy to be vulnerable but rather it's screaming insecurities with love, energy, and acceptance. This is a wonderful album.

Not many people will ever ever understand how much this second sky meant to me. I flew to SF with the love of my life to see all our favorite artists together. It was the best night of my life and I can't imagine I'll ever be able to feel anything close to that level happiness again. She was such an amazing and wonderful person, had the best heart of anyone I knew and I wish she could realize how she appeared through my eyes. She suffered and endured through so much but she still stayed by my side. She's gone now but I still constantly come back to watch this video. It hurts so much to watch it because all my memories of her come flooding back but it gives me so much joy at the same time. It's like the eerie feeling you get in the pit of your stomach that you get when you accidentally miss a step on the stairs except instead of a split second it's never ending.

I am simultaneously SO glad I got to see nurture live but SO sad I will never experience the pure joy of that day again... Otherworldly. I've been to many concerts but nurture was hands down my favorite. Genuinely one of the best days of my life and I am SO glad there's a recording of it so I can relive it in a way 😭😭😭

Porter Makes music that is nostalgic but sound so futuristic. Such a perfect blend. I know he’s a big anime and Minecraft nerd ! This music is salvation to those who can’t connect to much things nowadays. Thank you for dropping this !

I feel like in regards to Porters musical direction and performance expression... The Worlds album and live set was a manifestation of all his darker emotional hardships, lost in uncertain wonderment, imperfections, even doubts and anger. While still overall mostly upbeat and house based, definitely contains moments of surprising and overwhelming, almost soul crushing heaviness, darkness and discordance. Creating A feeling/longing of escaping to other worlds... And then came Nurture, and through Nurture Porter expresses loudly and clearly that, at least for the most part, he's worked through that darkness and life uncertainty of the Worlds era, resolved/cut his ties with the negatives. Now fully embracing the light of the world, natures beauty, hope for the future, care for ones self and others, resulting in this incredibly positive, happy, wisdom filled, healing, comforting and uplifting performance. Creating a feeling/longing of loving and belonging right here, on our own nurturing mother Earth. That's how they vibe for me anyway, anyone agree?

Seriously! He somehow managed to play the piano part in the middle even more beautifully! Like playing the 2 and 7 chord before resolving to the 1 at 37:21, and throwing in the jazz voicing at 38:02 and finally throwing in the 7th note in there before the final resolution. There are so many extra nuggets in there that aren’t in the record version.

Absolutely mind-blowing and powerful experience. Complete strangers were so kind and caring. The music, lights, lyrics were so vivid -- every member of our group of six cried at some point during Porter's set in a way unique to each of our stories. I have this great memory of the six of us with arms around one another's shoulders, jumping up and down to the music, living fully -- concert of a lifetime.

Wow what a genius concert! I was listening to the radio 3 hrs ago & heard a song that sounded damn fine so i quickly shazammed it, and it turned iut to be this guy id never heard of...Porter Robinson. One of the best nights of my life. I sang, danced, and cried. I would go to every concert of this tour if I could- that's how amazing it was. I miss it. I miss being there. I miss that night hah. Ps. My kids (5 and 3) listen to Shelter and Unfold every single day. We were able to show them video of these songs live and now get to show them the whole concert! Thank you Porter Robinson!!

I first came across Porter Robinson when he was a DJ and I feel so grateful to have witnessed his evolution by facing his fears of change by shedding his DJ persona, battling depression and develop into a musical ARTist not unlike a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis. At 54 years old I’m happy to say that there really IS music made today that is worth experiencing and young Mr Robinson is one such artist. 🙏🙏🖖

Went to the show on the 24th in Seattle. I've been following Porter since Spitfire and never saw him live. I influenced my girlfriend and other siblings that we all fly up from Hawaii to see him on his Nurture tour. It was a beautiful fucking show. I'll never forget it.

Wind Tempos is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life. Heard it this year after getting married and this album has solidified my moving forward and leaving the pandemic, and the negativity behind. Let this album be a reminder to keep doing better.

Saw this live in Vegas a few weeks back. The "inner voice" screen before Sad Machine felt really life changing to me, like its exactly what I needed to hear at that exact moment and it makes me emotional to think about it. I have OCD, so a really harsh inner voice and I had never thought about it like that before.

I've seen Porter 4 times now? I've seen his Virtual Self set 3 times? EVERY SINGLE TIME I WATCH HIS SETS I'M JUST DUMBFOUNDED HOW SOMEONE CAN BE SO GOOD TO WATCH.... Watching his Worlds tour was an unbelievable experience and when he played as Virtual Self in LA when he was nominated for a Grammy was other worldly....
