A arquitetura portuguesa é a mais bela que existe. Riquíssima em detalhes, colorida, diversa e muito original. As cidades portuguesas são majestosas, museus a céu aberto. Andar pelas ruas das cidades de Portugal foi uma das melhores experiências que já tive em minha vida, e olha que conheci outros países europeus, como Alemanha e Inglaterra, mas nenhum foi capaz de me encantar como Portugal me encantou. O interior de Portugal é ainda mais encantador, muitas cidades pequenas incríveis com arquitetura tradicional preservada. Lembra muito as ruas das cidades históricas do interior de Minas Gerais aqui no Brasil (como Ouro Preto, Diamantina, etc). O Brasil foi abençoado com essa arquitetura trazida pelos.portugueses. Abraços de um brasileiro a Portugal!

Você sabia que a Ribeira no Porto esteve quase para ir a baixo em 1940, mas for falta de dinheiro e de grande pobreza deixou se ficar o antigo praticamente em todas as cidades, nós portugueses estamos a redescobrir nos e de facto este país é encantador, ainda existe muito casa antiga e degradada em vilas e cidades do interior mas a maiorias das praças, ruas já estão modernizadas o que dá vontade de comprar antigo e remodelar, felizmente muitos estrangeiros estão também a nos descobrir e a dar uma ajuda ao recuperarem casas antigas que os portugueses não querem.

@@alvafaleiro Por aqui ocorre o mesmo. Destruíram meu país! A arquitetura tradicional por aqui, antiga, só sobreviveu em pequenas cidades longe das áreas de desenvolvimento que acabaram por ser preservadas. Como as do interior do Estado de Minas Gerais. Fora essas, foi tudo destruído, infelizmente. As cidades brasileiras hoje são horrorosas, cheias de prédios lisos, brancos, sem detalhes, cidades sem vida. E saber que fomos o palco desse lixo de estilo arquitetônico durante os anos 50-60 com o lixo do Oscar Niemeyer e outros modernistas que levaram esse estilo arquitetônico horroso pro exterior. Até hj o brasileiro se orgulha pelo modernismo ignorando que isso destruiu a identidade brasileira e nossas cidades que eram maravilhodas e hoje são muito feias. Eles exaltam Niemeyer e o modernismo. Mas quando vão viajar, vão pra Portugal, França, Espanha. Mas jamais para Brasília!

@@WannaWalk I was born there and I love that city, I'm simply in love with it, although I ve been living in a different country for many years. Each time I go back there I do a lot of photography, I love to explore the city, find places I remember, check how different they are now, etc. If you're interested, go to flickr, my page is /photos/mesosphere/albums .. but I need to reorganize, didn't update it for a while, and Porto photos are mostly on 2 albums, one of them being only about doors and buildings that are abandoned or a bit falling appart :) I love the mix between abandoned and new architecture there

@Wanna Walk I feel so proud to know that someone like that much of my beautiful city of Porto. I live faraway and I miss it so much. I love the fact that you film it in a cloudy day with wet floors. It brings so many memories of my childhood and make me feel so nostalgic . I feel that I was the one walking. Thank you for taking me to that place that is so dear to me. I’m literally crying not knowing wend I will be able to go there again.

Que bom.. Nasci no Porto sou tripeira Gostei do vídeo sem musicas atrapalhar.. som direto da minha cidade do Porto uma das cidades mais lindas do meu Portugal... Eu quando era miúda andava muito de elétrico então quando havia determinadas paregens de referência o cobrador puchava o fio e fazia Tim Tim e dizia de seguida Carvalhosa, Ou seja... On the contrary, as a Portuguese I can garantee you that! I bet the footage was taken very early in the morning. Porto is as busy as a city can be and its car traffic is rather intense. Not quiet by any means !

I visited Porto a few years ago and found it a bit spooky but fascinating. I also liked Lisbon. I walked to Santiago from Porto which was a nice walk. Portugal really impressed me, it would be a great place to live for a year or two.

This was the first walking style video I saw, about a year ago, and I've watched several times. For me it's the mos iconic one, the route you chose and the hour of the day was perfect. I got the feeling as I actually visited it. After that I started getting to watch other Portugal cities, all of them have a very good vibe almost nostalgic. Thank you Sir

My wife and I celebrated NYE 2020 in Porto and boy I tell you, it was amazeballs. We were a long ways from home (California) but felt like home; the atmosphere, people, culture, and FOOD was phenomenal! We cannot wait to return.
