We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Porto, Portugal on July 2020.
Porto or Oporto is the second-largest city in Portugal and one of the Iberian Peninsula's major urban areas. Located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European centres, and its core was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.42 miles (5.5 km) long, starts at Luís I Bridge, ends at Porto Cathedral and covers most attractions and historic sites of Porto.

One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been in one of the most beautiful countries I've ever traveled to. My grandmother was from the island of Madeira, she moved to Canada in the 1930s and I still remember her speaking to my mother in her native Portuguese, despite not being able to understand much this created a fond memory of my childhood and a part of me always felt connected to this land. Greetings to all Portuguese, from a Canadian of proud Portuguese heritage.

Mathew I understand exactly where you're coming from. As an American I too am extremely proud of my Portuguese heritage and culture. Love the country an people. To think we are fortunate enough to share the blood of the world's greatest navigators and explorers is nothing short of miraculous.

I went Porto right after leaving my ex job. it was October 2019. every street and sight of porto was beautiful. someday I will go this city again :)

My great-gandfather went from This northern portuguese region to Brazil in 1915 and here he got married with a brazilian woman also with portuguese ansestry. On my mother's side, her grandmother came from italy in 1920 and married with a brazilian man with native ansestry. I think I might have some distant cousins in Portugal that I want to vist one day. Cousins that are great-grandsons from my great-grandparent's bothers and sisters.

I've never been to Portugal but after seeing this video I think it is my priority to travel there. Looks like a fairy tale place! Absolutely gorgeous. Would even go as far as saying this is one of the prettiest cities in Europe.

I'm visited Lisbon and Porto on year 2016 and your video remind me a lots of my memory there especially Luis I Bridge and Ribeira Pier. I LOVE so much to have dinner at Ribeira Pier and enjoy the view there its so much relax that no words to describe. I miss there so much and hope to visit again. Thanks for your video.

I visited Porto, Braga, Coimbra and Lisbon last year 💕 It was my first time in Portugal and my first time traveling by myself. I love Portugal so much! I did wonder why quite many beautiful buildings, that are very well located in the cities, are abandoned.

The big Porto sign is gone in Liberty Square. I was there summer of 2019 and it was wonderful! I hope you had the francesinha while you were there, it's fantastic!

Don't forget, this was Portugal in the middle of a crippling Covid lockdown. The streets are usually very crowded, which does not diminish the beauty of the city.

I was hoping you'd get inside those baroque-rococo churches so we get to see the beauty inside even in film. That's one thing I like about European travels you get to see how they manage to preserve all these huge art masterpieces inside the churches and cathedrals. Just by looking and being there takes you in back in time.

Portugal, *is* a mediteranean country. But it 'feels', more in South. North, is more "Atlantic". Principality, in architecture and climate.

I don't understand why people take on these political labels and run with them. even if they box countries in ways that explaing nothing. Ik heb al verscheidene keren Portugal bezocht; van Noord naar Zuid en van Oost naar West. Ik hou van de stad Porto en daarom drink ik ieder dag een Port als aperitief. Als je daarbij dan af en toe een mooie video daarbij kan bekijken, dan is de stemming kompleet!
