Before I found this channel,all my artworks were free hand drawn ,trust me it requires a lot of time and it's like you have to look at the drawing and the reference multiple times just to get that match .....But when I first used grid.....time was saved the atmosphere even changed ,getting that match with ease and it is what I use right now

Please Jason, Charcoal powder just doesn’t blend properly as well doesn’t give the darkest shade for my shadows, could it be the charcoal powder or the paper ?

Thanks for sharing tips and knowledge. I improved so so much by your video. However, I find that go to art school and get some art teachers is better for advanced - art level. We can learn how to use colors, composition, structure, perspective, value..etc that I suggest people taking part in, but if draw as hobby just enjoy:).
