I'm a Notts County fan, and I really don't understand why the stewards are doing that, I don't get it at all... I mean as the games going on, sure... you don't want people running on, but when the whistles blown and it's confirmed they've been promoted, it's expected for the Portsmouth fans to wanna celebrate, and a pitch invasion has become a thing of tradition and I see nothing wrong with it, so once the game is done, they should just leave them be.

I haven't heard Pompey fans sing like this since KJ has been in charge... I was there that day, banging headache!!

I Was in that stand with a pompey mate of mine who came up to Nottingham for the weekend and got me a tkt. Loudest fans I've ever heard exept for St Pauli in Germany. Amazing fans and city.

I know Portsmouth are such a big club and I thought I'd seen the best support of them at Colchester away (I'm a colu fan) but this is fenomenal and 10x better

Some stewards and Old Bill were a disgrace. It was obviously all peaceful and these guys were kicking and tripping people, much more likely to cause violence than anything the Pompey fans were doing. Full marks to County as a club for their behaviour and treatment of Pompey but a lot of the stewards need to look at themselves and use common sense.

I think there's an unwritten rule that the away fans can not celebrate on the home club's pitch.Why didn't the PA announcer address that message for the fans to remain in the stands? That might help. But kicking the fans for the pitch invasion is just wrong. Maybe the fans should hurry back to Fratton Park to celebrate with the players. Have their own pitch invasion.
