Mexico dominated the game, but they made stupid little mistakes that cost them the tie against Portugal. They need to work a lot harder especially on their defense because next time they won't be so lucky

I'm from Colombia but if robben hadn't dived in 2014 I believe Mexico would've made it to the final and lose to Germany, would've easily defeated Costa Rica , Argentina couldn't score more than one goal on any team so I believe they would get a hard victory but I don't think they would've beaten germany

As a Mexican, I'd say if robben hadn't dived, Mexico would've made it to the Semi Finals and lose against Argentina, then beat Brazil in the 3rd place off

Here after 6 years lol. I'm Mexican but I believe that if someone had stopped Sneijder's shot then yeah, we could've made it to the semi final at least, but if Robben hadn't dived the game would've gone to extra time and Mexico would've probably lost :(

We would’ve made it to the semi at best with gods blessing. Only way we would have been able to beat Costa Rica is in penalties. But then again these guys were in the group of death with historic word champions and came out on top.

This was an amazing match. I was screaming the entire time. Amazing game. Mexico had the ball more and if people don't believe me idgaf the stat says they had the ball 59% of the time but Portugal is really good. using counter attacks to hurt us. We use more control and Portugal explosive counters. Different styles yet amazing teams. Respect to Portugal. Still Mexico is my team until the day I die. Vela played really good and the MVP was Jonathan Dos Santos. This is what I love about Futbol

Both Mexico and Portugal under performed, Mexicos defense made a lot of errors due to the absence of the true Captain Rafael Marquez (they need to make their defense better now because he's about to retire) and Mexico couldn't really break the defense due to both the absence of Tecatito and lack of effort. Portugal did not play like European champions. Maybe because Mexico had control over the ball through out the majority of the game (as usual) so Ronaldo didn't have chances with the ball or Portugal was just lazy. 2-2 was pretty fair score for this game but I honestly think Mexico could've won. None the less it was a good game Congrats to both teams 🇲🇽🇵🇹

Parece que no vimos el mismo partido, hubo muchos errores entre herrera y layun, la selecion cayó animicamente despues de que les metieron el gol anulado, la mayor parte del partido no tuvieron claridad en la delantera, se cometieron errores tecnicos al meter como lateral a Salcedo, como relevo a Gio, dejar de titular a herrera, y meter a layun que esta fuera de ritmo.

Dive Etaz ¿Sabes por qué se llaman latinos? Es porque su idioma oficial es una lengua romance, osea, derivada del latín. Las lenguas romances son español, portugués, francés, italiano, rumano, así como lenguas mas locales de ciertas regiones cómo catalán, occitano y romanche, y una lengua extinta: dalmático. Portugal, al hablar portugués, se considera un país latino. Tú error nace en la creencia de que solo los países latinoamericanos son latinos, cuando Latinoamérica es la región de AMÉRICA en donde se habla un idioma latino, los que mencioné antes.

Just proves domination doesn't win games, it's how you play with the possesion. Ronaldo, Quresema, made many keys passes, crosses, shots, etc. Mexico however made many mistakes and played scarce football, and didn't have any key passes, shots, etc.

Gabriel Sanchez Layun no está en buen momento y no merece ser titular, pero los inútiles de Salcedo y Alanís no merecen estar en la selección pero nunca en su vida, Salcedo dio asco hoy contra Portugal y al idiota de Alanís lo vi jugar contra Estados Unidos e igual fue una desgracia, ni siquiera terminó el primer tiempo.
