@@PsychCore thank you so much, my English mmmmm well jajajajaaj , but yes, your channel is just PERFECT. What I do most of the times is use captions and reduce the speed to try to catch every single thing you explain, because the truth, you are the best, at least for me. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

If I stomped away my stepfather would make me stand there and stop and count. It was humiliating even at 8 years old. If I sighed he would make me sigh and count. I was his special project and humiliating me made him happy.

Idea is punishment so there is little to no reinforcement or engagement for compliance. Designed not to be fun.

@@PsychCore Cute response, but I was honestly looking for examples of how to use punishments in the classroom and all I got was a bunch of zany snark that would undermine discipline. I watched the video expecting to see some positive punishments that I could use and instead I got nothing but some weird shouting and stories about blocking cats with body blocks that are not usable in modern society. The punishments that work are the ones that put an imposition on the parent to correct the child behavior, as doing so oneself is only opening the door to opposition with the parent. Those old time punishments are not allowed anymore and nothing has been provided in it's place, so I was hopeful for something usable. Under these Covid times colleagues are retiring in droves and everyone still there is snapping at each other and breaking down. I was short because my patience is spent. Sorry that came down on the video, but I was honestly hopeful and many of us are looking for something in the face of administrators hiding in their bunkers and showing no empathy or compassion.

Thank you for the detailed reply. It seems like you have some genuine concerns. Might we remind you that we are here to teach basic concepts, using high quality entertaining vids released under an open license - all for free. Regarding punishment. You do know that in the current ethical climate all punishment is kinda a no no. Which is weird because almost everyone uses it (they just won’t admit it). But ethics will change. The irony of your post is that you seemed to attempt punishment with your comment. And failed. Lol. Alas, you have an example. We replied to you, in an attempt to reduce your trolling and it seems to have worked. So potentially a successful punisher. So you have a second example. Further if you are genuinely interested in some examples of punishment being used currently you could have searched PsychInfo or even Google Scholar and found dozens of recent references from a source(s) much more reputable than a KZfaq channel. We did. It took about 45 seconds. If you would like to request specific vids, as many have, then feel free to reach out to our team at admin@psychcore.net. In the mean time, remember, trolls only look good on the end of pencils. Ps. Response blocking and punishment are NOT the same thing.
