@@albertofrederickimana8046 On Qingque, since she doesn't keep her damage buff, it only buffs the Benediction hit that happens on her turn, and not on Tingyun's turn (which is actually where the bigger Benediction multiplier is). But you're definitely right that it gives big buffs to the hit on QQ's turn. I still think Xueyi is the best as a Benediction driver, but some other characters that benefit it are: - Imbibitor Lunae (Crit & Dmg%; only during his turn) - Yanqing (Crit; both for his turn and Tingyun's) - Seele (Dmg%; only during her turn) - Arlan (Dmg%; both for his turn and Tingyun's) Blade and Jingliu technically benefit it with Dmg% and Crit Rate respectively, but Blade doesn't build ATK and Jingliu's ATK bonuses from Spectral Transmigration don't apply to Benediction's hits, so it ends up doing lower damage.

You even forgot that, the dmg from the ally, is also proportional to the ally's crit dmg% as well. So even that one would crit, supposed that your DPS has good crit rate and crit dmg, and can do like, 20-30k. That's what I saw when pairing her with Dr Ratio, a crit to abt 30k average. This would mean that, it's not just the universal dmg%, but also the crit dmg% as well. So a decent build on Xueyi with good crit stats, and she's gonna perform really well on that passive hit not just bc of the dmg%.

lmao same, although I'm relatively new to the game I managed to get Ruan Mei + E6 Xueyi, got some copies of Pela and Lynx and had been using these 4 in one team. the way my lvl 60 Xueyi dealt 30k crit after a proper setup is wild to me but idk if that dmg is good enough but it was so good to me lol

The problem is that it doesn't matter how much toughness the allies break she always get only 1 stack from them, but if she is the one depleting the toughness bar she can get more than 1 stack at time

The issue is that the DMG% gets stacked too fast with just her own traces and a BE rope. Then add some random BE rolls, she will have more than enough DMG% source from herself. Then you add supports that gives DMG%, it just makes CRIT/CDMG have much much more value. Xueyi especially with Fall of an Aeon is just having so much problems trying to build her critical stats.

The gains from extra entanglement damage is too small.

@@LisaraScarlet hmm fair point I guess it’s only strong against elite mobs and if they are already dead than it doesn’t matter. Maybe it’s good for the extra delay if you are running no sustain with Ryan mei, but yeah now that I think about it the extra damage even if you were to break every elite mob is still not much

It really depends on what team you're trying to create. For example, Tingyun alone is typically equipped with Cogs so she can maintain a 3-turn SP positive rotation. 2x DDD requires a lot of planning and speed tuning.

The 8% critical chance increase has its value increased because the more you stack ATK% and DMG% buffs, the more your critical multiplers lag behind. You also improve its value by getting multiple Broken Keels on your supports. If she is with Bronya, the CDMG buff of Bronya also increases the value of that 8% crit.

I think they are almost equal while Xueyi is significantly better if the target is alone, no adds.

Mono element teams has always been pretty overrated. Team synergy should be prioritized. I don't look at leaks so I can't give my opinions on Sparkle.

Yukong is only good on very very specific situations. I wouldn't say she's good with Xueyi.

Critical stat boost buffs are pretty rare which makes any extra sources of CRIT or CDMG very valuable such as Keel. For example, only Bronya and E1 Fu Xuan can buff CDMG at the moment.

Space Station is good but 8cr is important too. Basically, pick the better substats of the 2.

It's kind of like Talia, it is still a good option but it's really really a tough decision to make to skip that 8% CRIT of Salsotto when its so hard to get Xueyi into decent CRIT stats.

@@LisaraScarlet yeah I'm feeling that right now, especially because I prefer to be above 134 speed. With the stuff I have right now the best I ended up with was actually glammoth ornaments on quantum damage mainstat, 60cr-77.8cd and BE rope. Sounds like a complete disaster, but I do have a 20% atk glove on, I'll have to see after I finish leveling. Should be almost decent with s4 blue sky or s5 aeon, hopefully.

You need a minimum of 136 speed to reach talia's 145 requirement using ruan mei's talent alone. Also, Ruan Mei's talent takes into account base speed alone which is 103 for Xueyi. Boots are not Base speed.

@@LocoDS49 I meant base speed as in speed before Ruan Mei’s talent. 134 is the minimum for 145 speed with the talent: 134-103= 31 (SPD boots and 6 speed in substats) 103*1,1=113,3 113,3+31=144,3 The game rounds up 144,3 to 145, thus meeting the conditions for Talia

Losing 43% ATK is just too much, you'll definitely notice this on your Xueyi's performance. But if there's really no one in the team that is giving her speed, then go use SPD boots.

Hanya could probably replaced better by a DEF shredder like Pela or Silver Wolf.

Removing BE rope is a huge damage loss.

You will lose too much damage by focusing too much on break effect even with super break available.

Sounds like a decent team. You might wanna use SPD boots on Xueyi for that team though. You might wanna build Asta instead and swap Pela out so Xueyi could use an ATK% boots. Asta also provides big ATK% boost which Xueyi needs anyways.

Indelible Promise is better for sure. Quantum sphere is fine but it is noticeably worse than ATK.

The speed requirements is easy to meet if she has the correct teammates but why bother with Glamoth when Talia is better? Or even better, just use Salsotto, stronger and easier to use.

Definitely super good on her, I auto-equipped it on her after getting it to S5. Just need a proper stage to showcase it, sadly there's none.

When you consider that an endgame setup usually involves all 3 supports equipped with Broken Keel, this makes the 8% CRIT from Salsotto have more value. Not to mention, Xueyi literally has no other sources of CRIT, you build it from the ground. This experience is especially worse if you don't use Brighter Than The Sun or Under The Blue Sky. Some of the best solo carry supports provides too much DMG% like Bronya and Ruan Mei, this makes Xueyi even more hungrier for ATK% and any critical stat boost. Luckily, Bronya not only gives extra actions for Xueyi but also that much needed CDMG that Xueyi is heavily lacking.

With just a break rope you already reach 100% BE. Add in E4 for 40% BE and then 6 substat rolls and you're at 170 BE. Then add in 8% quantum from traces and 10% from quantum set and you're close to 190. Crit substats are each worth around 2% increase in damage, peaking at 70/140, and don't fall off too much before you reach 100/200. At +190% damage, the average break substat of 5.8% is a 2% increase. It's already roughly on par with crit stats, but if you're stuck with a light cone that gives you damage, or if you have Ruan Mei, who increases that by 88%, break falls off even more in value. Well, that's looking at just the direct damage anyway. I don't have the resources to build Xueyi yet so I can't say how much her entanglement and break damage factors into the equation. I've seen the 55/45 split but I don't know how that actually holds up in MoC. I suspect that the higher numbers in Talia set will make up for the differences somewhat as long as you're not overcapping break effect, and then it boils down to the quality of your substats.

I envisioned Xueyi with SW/Pela Fu and E1 RM to truly tap into the def shred value with Fall helping her ATK and her getting more benefit from another damage source over overloading her with other harmonies on damage% like Bronya, and into breaking enemies quickly to then nuking them with the high BE breaks while what you're describing is more focused on her upfront damage rather than her quantum burst. I do not like the idea of using her with Tingyun when her energy needs are low to nonexistent, or building Hanya just for her when I don't have her E4, I don't own a crit boosting destruction LC so I also sadly can't replicate what you're saying and don't appreciate Under the blue sky's conditional, nor do I like the idea of dropping speed boots if I want to use her in weird setups like Himeko RM in SU for example which deny me versatility and make me rely on external chars or switching gear out for the basic extra actions and I am neither obsessed with Broken Keel/prefer using Vonquack on my tingyun for example to enable the 3T ult rotation for Argenti for example. If your Seele isn't meeting the damage breakpoints needed, it would be better to buff her up more rather than bringing another damage dealer. So yea, just work on Seele more.

I honestly would prefer Blue Sky if I can maintain its effect since its really hard to get high crit ratio for Xueyi. S5 Aeon is actually strong on Xueyi, just that yea, you'll have issues building crit.

She already has a ton of dmg% bonus, you want atk so the hit actually does something before the multiplier.

@@grampaseri Thanks for the explanation. Didn't realize the calculations for this game were so different from genshin's. Explains a lot for why specific character's dps' being so wildly different. Are there any other dps characters that have this issue of dmg% being effectively useless on them compared to atk?

I did say that you use ATK boots on Xueyi then use turn manipulators whether they increase speed or give advance forwards. So yea, just use any turn manipulators.

Salsotto is just too good for her.

As mentioned in the guide, just try to use a BE rope, ATK sphere and ATK boots. After that, work on your critical stats as much as possible.

I don't like Qingque's RNG so I prefer Xueyi.

Viable? Yes. Strong? If compared to your Qingque, she'd feel significantly weaker.

It doesn't work well for Xueyi unless your team is constantly receiving damage.

It could work but I don't think its optimal.

Because Fall of an Aeon is a completely F2P option yet miles better than Something Irreplaceable.
