It’s the Oxy Codones he wanted. I’m a Dental Assistant and I’ve seen patients who were prescribed that Norco medicine come back and when the dentist denied them another prescription, the patient complained loudly and claimed they’re still having tooth pain and needs it now. My manager would discuss the regulations of the law about it and they’d storm out yelling how we’re at fault.

I’m sick of hearing the people who knew the killer using his concussions as a sort of excuse for his behavior. That innocent family didn’t deserve any of this and there’s no justification whatsoever of the killer’s actions. My condolences go out to all the families.

That’s an ongoing prescribed drug problem that wasn’t being fulfilled, not because of concussions. He needed his pills and would do anything to get them or anything to people who wouldn’t give them to him.

Tragic. The NFL needs to take more responsibility and initiative in helping their players who struggle with CTE with access to proper treatment and care. That includes counseling too. They can’t keep sweeping this issue under the rug.

This is ridiculous. Not even the good doctor at home with his family was safe. All those years working hard to build a life while also being a public servant to those in need, destroyed in a single moment. They must have all been terrified. Also the repair men just earning an honest living, never suspecting this would occur. I wonder if there were any threats made prior to this incident. Still, I'm certain no one would expect this to occur. May they all rest in peace. My condolences to their loved ones. This is truly horrific. So sad😔🙏

You can't blame something like that on concussions just because he's a player. Normal people don't go killing others just because they have concussions so why would these?

There doesn’t seem to be any “safe line of work” anymore. Doctors tend to choose that profession out of a desire to help people. Anything to do with serving the public is risky nowadays. You never know who is going to cross your path.

Its probably the endless slamming on his body on the field and on his head as well he probably snapped and then this shooting happened. Prayers to all those individuals involved. Ever watch the movie starring Will Smith about the concussions that were occurring on the field and he was doing the research on this and certain parties didn't want his findings to come out.

Obviously concussions doesn’t excuse but if you have seen first hand what head injury’s do to people my uncle used to be a rugby player and years after he retired he was diagnosed with Chronic traumatic encephalopathy the symptoms can include behavioral problems, mood problems, and problems with thinking. He was a passive person before but slowly became violent and aggressive and also extremely confused of who he was he ended up committing suicide
