To be honest its offroad capabilities are quite simmilar to most real life SUV's (maybe exept the lack of power) Still I think that even in that price point you can get a better crawler/offroad vehicle lol

Yeah, it's a shame as the previous rigs from LDRC have been better. The MN82 is about the same price and its much better. 👍

@pmilitary047 I'm sure you could, but you'd probably be better just getting something else or using the body on something else. Its not something I want to upgrade tbh as its just not very good. 👍

To me it looks so funny seeing a compact suv actually offroading 😂 maybe with loads of power it would be fun to test on dirt ramps and stuff and just jump it until destruction. Also I didn't realise you're almost at 50k 💯 growing fast (:

3:38 That noise is the PWM whine of the ESC. Its frequency determines the pitch of the whining, which in turn has some influence on how loud it is. Certain ESC + motor combinations can make more unsavory noises than others of course.

@DoURC yeah I'm pretty happy with the 1/18 drift car they put out not too long ago as well. Outstanding value for the money and only needs a gyro upgrade to smooth it out 👍

You probably seen Trasped 4Runner 1/24. The body and interior look great. But the videos I’ve seen. I think this performs better.. I see it at banggood.

Yeah there's lots of cheap cheap rigs that look decent but aren't great. You can have fun with cheap rigs, but the danger is judging the whole hobby by the cheap stuff, whereas in reality it's like the difference between a cheap toy and a proper hobby grade RC. Can be night and day differences. 👍

Yeah it's cheap enough you could upgrade it. It's got a 280 motor in it. 👍 Tbh I'd just buy something better. The MN82 is only like $5 more and much better out the box. 👍

Now I know which RC to get for people that I hate. My Furitek Katana arrived today. The thing looks quite nice. Very detailed oriented and a balance of scale and performance.

Remove the body and plant it on a real 1/14 ish rc crawler might work in another more solid platform

For the answer of 7:00 i think in my opnion, this car is made of to be looking real, drive real, response like real car on road , other than that, nothing it can do

Yeah I can understand that, but even there isn't not quite cutting it. Straight axle on the rear, no oil filled shocks etc. To me it's more just something to drive on a hard surface like an RC car, not a crawler. If they hasn't listed it saying a out it's offroad capabilities I wouldn't have an issue with it. Sometimes you do get what you pay for! 🤣👍

Australia watching. This complete vehicle costs the same as one pair of 1/10 proline or axial wheels and tires. That’s two wheels and two tires. I can see it’s a rubbish truck with no performance but I do wonder what you expected for $90 Australian. It’s something to chase the cat with and pretty good at it I imagine with the ships horn.

🤣 That would be quite funny tbf! Yeah I know it's cheap, but tbf a WPL C24 is better for $25, or an MN82 is much better for $50. If you just used it as a toy or on road car, then yeah it's better than what you could buy in a shop. It's still the worst RC I own though! 🤣👍😁

For its price (or less) you can get WPL stuff that performs well out of the box, or MN's like MN82, MN D90 or 99S, or the unpopular-ish but great performing FY-003. This LDRC just have no excuse to perform like this for the price if compared to other competitors.... Buuut then again can't expect bangers to always be output from a company.

Yeah it's a shame, tbh I don't see the point putting any effort into it. It's just one of those duff rigs to gather dust! 🤣 SST, there is the Pay & Play on 28th April. The main event is 7th to 8th September I believe. 👍

Id love to get one or just the body and mod it on another frame from my collection is what i might do when payday hits ive done it alot putting bodys from one to others and modding the body out i have 18 different rc cars/trucks but there all for show except for 3 that i play with

Yeah it's cheap enough to use the body on something else. Just a shame it's not better. For like $5 you can get the MN82 which still isn't great, but much better than this imo. 👍

Nah, its not bad. You're probably used to 1/10 cars and you give it overly hard tasks. Remember its scale also. Does sound a bit loud though.

🤣 Did you watch the video? It couldn't even manage the easiest of obstacles! I've got WPL's, MN etc and they're all better. I like LDRC's other stuff, but this is just rubbish sorry. 👍
