⏩ What's with the gloves?
Not after any KZfaq fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing - easy to spot my videos! If that's not your thing and you'd prefer to watch a face, all good, I won't be offended, there's plenty of better looking ones to watch already on KZfaq ;)
⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)
⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)

Aussie version of chris fix. Nice seeing an "influencer" whos not in it for the recognition personally by being in the video, but rather a guy whos letting his content do tha talking for him, and being the "star" of the show. Nice video.

Cheers. Seemed to do its job, bonnet stayed perfect 👍 Yeah easy peasy, just has these little clips that it screws into and some 3M tape

Since i'm still waiting on my decibel comparison from the roof rack install, might be worth doing a total noise test with the rooftop tent on and all kitted up for bush? Would be good to see what kind of sound increase it is now compared to stock! Keep up the good work mate 👍

Hey Adam, Loved the Cape series. In regards to the snorkel, did you think it was beneficial even just for the bulldust and giving the engine a bit of cleaner air?

Thanks for another great video, all very interesting for me. How are your tyres wearing, I've just discovered my fronts wearing (2021 LSU DMax) on the inside edge after seeing a similar post on facebook. I also need towing mirrors and favour the MSA TM902's but I installed those bloody Ocam window weather shields that cover part of the mirror mounting - bugger. What size wire did you run to the DCDC charger in that rear box you have. I'm about to change the cable to 13.5mm2 for the rear 50A Anderson plug to power a BMS requiring about 25A.

Pic up shortly on yt/insta, did a tip run today with everything on except the rtt/awning, 2 people, full fuel and water and a tub full of rubbish - 2.84t

@@VideoShowMeHow Thanks for that Adam. Looks like you might have been close to 3t for the Cape (with awning and RTT) but at least you would have been under! Have you ever looked at a modest gvm upgrade with the Outback Armour suspension? I have the same (300kg constant) but when I installed 140L long range tank recently I'm right on the line with a 150kg tow ball weight (small off road camper) I have an ARB canopy and Ironman 270 awning but no RTT.

Hey mate, upgraded to 300kg constants for the trip. Ran well fully loaded. Sits up a little when not in trip mode. Talk about this a bit more in the pre trip vehicle prep vid 👍

Hi, chassis is rust protected from factory, other than that I used some of that 4wd detail spray for the chassis and for the body just the standard detail routine

Yeah so far so good, have it a solid workout on the Cape Trip, love the breather and solid warranty 👍 There's a full vid on it on the channel showing more detail

To fit 285's on did you have to chop the chassis in the front?

Chop the chassis?? Nope not needed for 285/65/18 (rim is +18) Even ran on the stocko rim no probs.

Ahh i thought in order to run the fatter tyre you would have to chop out the body mount to stop rubbing on turns. Good to know.@@VideoShowMeHow

+18/+20 is ok, I was sent 0 offset rims by mistake originally and they scrubbed like mad

@@VideoShowMeHow ur lucky you have fenders. My 2015 Dmax LSU is just the body. Dunno if I could go that wide. I currently run 265/70/17 on stock rims. Would love to go to 285’S
