Hello, I am facing a problem with the device. I bought it from Amazon. When I wanted to install it, it does not work. It gives a signal on the Alpine screen and turns off. I do not know what the reason is. Is it from the factory or something else? I hope you can help me.
@VideoShowMeHow3 күн бұрын
Hmm hard to say over comments, would suggest double checking all connections, also make sure you have the 'power strip' the little plastic strip installed correctly

After the cape york trip and other adventures, would you get this suspension again. Are you still happy with it now?
@VideoShowMeHow4 күн бұрын
Have to say I would yes. Prob 50/50 if I would have upgraded the rear leaf pack from the 150 to the 300 just before the Cape York trip but overall has been excellent 👍
@callingrantham25533 күн бұрын
@@VideoShowMeHow I get you, did the leaf upgrade turn out a bit too stiff?
@VideoShowMeHow3 күн бұрын
No it's ok, was perfect for the cape and on trips at full GMV. But not really needed when empty but that's the leaf spring balancing act! 😁

Had to come and re-watch as I’ll be installing a renegade tool box on the drawbar of the trailer to house the batteries, air compressor, 240v victron charger along side a 240v plug in outlet as well so if on a camp site with power can charge batteries etc. I’m doing something similar to the fan idea you had but it’ll be setup with a Digital Temperature Controller that will kick on when the temp inside the box becomes too warm and setup to turn on and off automatically it’s going to be interesting lol

So I have a few questions if you will permit me. So is this something that can be left on all the time or are there times when it absolutely shouldn't be used, i.e. decelerating down a hill? You mentioned the potential fuel saving by not changing gears up and down particularly when towing, so I guess it begs the question. How many klm's / years would it take for the $1500 device to pay for itself?

Hey guys, This is totally not a hype-drive post, but for delivery in the next 2-3 weeks, we got 7 units left unallocated with the circuit boards we've had manufactured, after that it will be 3-5 weeks with a number between 10-100 available, then 5-8 weeks about the same number again. Unfortunately the kits are very hands on, with only hardware basics done in mass production, the bootloader, firmware and file configuration takes time and some physical assembly takes time. So if you want one sooner rather than later, I'd say you would probably need to get an order in within the next few days. I really don't enjoy creating any hype, but I've come across quite a few wanting things asap for trips coming up and it's just not a reality that can be accomplished. No complaints on my end, it's keeping me busy... All of my side projects have had to take a break to fulfil orders. The link is in the description Cheers

Man I was keen after watching the video but then when I went on the website and seen the price I got cold feet. Bit pricey for something that is plug and play in my opinion, and I tow a bit. Great product and I can appreciate the time effort in making them and everyone’s got to make bread.

Thanks for the video Adam - this inspired me to install the same kit into my 2023 MUX... thinking it would all be pretty much the same... but I came across a few differences. One is that the console buttons are different - Isuzu opted for custom sized, asymmetrical blanks, so you can't swap buttons side-to side. They also opted for a really long microswitch board under the right side cluster, which meant I was limited to where I could put the dial control. A bit of careful dremmelling, though, and that is all in. Your guidance on a couple things was spot on, like 'put a little nick in the firewall gateway boot'. Def so not take it off - real pain to reconnect it! I also ran the wires all under the car, so put them in a 9mm split conduit - seems to be generally recommended practice. Cheers, Adam

Adam, love ya videos mate. My dmax came with trailer wiring installed. I have since wired a tow pro system. After which I saw the pre wired heavy blue and signal red near the ecu unit. Do you know where they return up the front of the ute? Want to use one as a signal for my dcdc charger ignition wire rather than run a new one.

I bought one of these for £2000.00 and although it works ok as a power pack it won’t charge on the solar input without going into a fault. I contacted the company who sent me a replacement and now I have 2 power packs that won’t charge on solar without faulting. When they go into fault it flashes an error code and the only way to clear it is to leave it for a few hours to clear itself and then I find the battery level has gone to 0% and I have to charge it on mains to bring it back to life. I still use them but I really wanted the solar charging to work.
