Catherine shying away from wanting to give Iga credit is bizarre . If sabalenka won this match in the same fashion, I feel like this conversation would sound a lot different

Too early to say that will continue, but, yeah, they do seem to be producing more exciting matches.

FAA did not lack confidence,. he just happy he got 650 points moving him up 10 spots ..he knew he did t belong in the finals the way he got there. He’s not into stolen valor.. which esteems❤ him in my eyes. ❤

As a non native english speaking person I have question: What does it actually mean being called ”A tool”? It’s a phrase I have heard before but never really grasped the meaning of.
@JohnSmith-co7lu
@JohnSmith-co7lu 21 күн бұрын
It’s derogatory and means someone who is an idiot but with some kind of intent with it. For example, an idiot can do something stupid but it can be with or without intent. A tool is someone who is an idiot but the behavior is a little more deliberate and less excusable.

was i wrong to tune in to this podcast to get information? not necessarily breaking news. but comments from the players..like Rublev commentary on his illness. FAA comments on cramps..their inside knowledge of conditions at madrid. heard there was a virus in the city.. inside scoop on how Rublev kept going.. what he struggled with. more info on up & coming men players..shelton.. etc replacing the old guard. top 20 moving into top 10.

There is more strategy in men’s tennis. Nothing wrong with Sabalenka being honest?

sorry but I don't agree with statement about Sabalenka, she had 3 match points which she didin't used but it's not new things because Catherine doesn't like Swiatek and it is a fact since few years since Iga is playing...so she will never give her any credit...and it's really funny how all the credit goes to a player who lost the match :)

49.50 Catherine "The top of men's tennis, right now, is in a pretty catastrophic situation." a tad hyperbolic Catherine. I mean, Sinner and Alcaraz appear to have minor setbacks. Neither are going under the knife, having a Thiem/Murray level operation. They are both taking precautions which is something this podcast encourages Rune to do and the same with Alcaraz. We want these guys to be around for 10+yrs then they need to be careful. Even if they're not ready for RG, it's one tournament.

empty seats and no one watching the women’s except maybe the final because the men’s tourney was washed out with walk overs. now trying to pump up demand for WTA .. it’s just not there .

24:24 Catherine never misses to bring this up. Where were all the female tennis players? Where were their tweets? Stop being a feminist for the sake of it and twist the conversation. Bring awareness in a positive way instead.

As a female, I agree. I listen to a tennis podcast to focus on the sports- which occasionally might involve discussing politics - but not every single podcast. Catherine can't go through a podcast without bringing up sexism and political issues. Can we just focus on the fact women's tennis is in amazing place right now without bringing up sexism?

Please review Chris Evert vs Navratilova 85/86 Roland Garros final.Seles vs Graf 1992 Roland Garros final, Graf vs Navratilova USopen Semifinal 1986. GRAF VS Navratilova Roland Garros final 1987..Venus vs Davenport Wimbledon final 2005, Justine Henin vs Jennifer Capriati USopen Semifinals 2005? Vika versus Serena Williams first USopen final. Just to name a few to say this wasn't the greatest women match of all time. Recently bias 😂😂😂😂
