Best playoff hockey player of the world.... Many times. Again 2 point's tonight and his line in a 5 on 5 with the decider

why in the world is Dracula left unmarked off to the side of the opposing net so often. If you cancel him by putting a man on him like a blanket, canucks win. This is not rocket science!
@dana10208316 күн бұрын
@user-cr1mj2cq3h because they shift the puck around the top forcing a zone defense to swing from side to side. When the puck is on one side, the defensive person on the far side is responsible for backdoor (think hyman) but they also meed to help their d partner if they go behind the net or if someone parks in front of the net. It leaves it exposed. So its an important job to get it right. Its been a sore spot for me eith our D. But if you overprotect another area, they wil see that and go elsewhere. Cough look at mcdavids assists and hymans goals. Not only backdoor where its harder to defend, but mcdavid often pulls people to jim so the play can develop elsewhere.

My wish is that somehow, someway Steve Yzerman makes his GM career defining move to get Draisaitl in Detroit. There’s history between him and Holland. I know it’s unlikely, but we do have the assets and cap room to do it and Oilers will have to make some moves to resign him. He’s the 2nd best player in world and arguably as good as the first. I’d take him over Matthews, Mackinnon and Kucherov who are all elite in their own right.

@bluethunder195115 күн бұрын
Look at it this way, they played with the lead for 50 minutes that makes the other team open up and take chances in the last 10 they got two flukes, oilers goals were hard fought and beat the goalie each time.
@aaronst.pierre308016 күн бұрын
I only had 2 negatives in that entire game. The Nurse screen and deflection into the Oiler net and the 4 minute minor in the first to Kane's crosscheck. Other than that, the team was fantastic in this one, up and down the lineup.
@user-zk2qy1xn2c15 күн бұрын
Exactly. Why four minutes ?
@Tomastone14 күн бұрын
Oh... cross-check? I thought it was a "high stick"? ...and that is why he got 4 & not 5.

This has been an up and down nerve cracking game. We still got to stop their third line and garland. And they need to punish QUINN HUGHES. If ZADOROV can hit dirty on McDAVID THEN HUGHES , GARLAND, JOSHUA, MILLER ARE ALL FAIR GAME
@ATGAT16 күн бұрын
Lol Soucy got a game suspension for accidentally glancing McCuck in the jaw... Hyman does the same thing intentionally, no penalty. Kane climbs a step ladder to hit a dirty cross check on Myers in the face? No major. Every official is leaning the ice in your favor lmao.

@@lynnfuentas9236no kidding. When I think about it should have been in 3-1 for Oilers if we didn't blow game one. Vancouver looked like the better team this series. But when you look deeper the Oilers were. But we made so many mistakes that costed us.
@UhhhhhnooOOo00oO15 күн бұрын
No defense since the Oilers dynasty and they ask why they and all Canadian teams have lost for the last 30 plus years. -The Rangers bought 9 of thise dynasty players to win the cup in 1994 and then had the nerve to buy Gretzky the next year. Connor makes them worse. He is the modern more goals to entertain the mases player. No defense. "Another gear on offense"? How aboooooot they learn defense/defence, that leads to offence/offense?
