We’re back on the road - the Great River Road! In this travelogue, DW host Eric Paulsen is exploring scenic La Crosse County and Vernon County. He begins his adventure at McGilvray’s Seven Bridges Road, then heads to Onalaska for a bike ride on the Great River State Trail. In La Crosse, he takes a historic paddlewheel river boat tour on the Mississippi, visits the serene Myrick Park, and enjoys the breathtaking views from Grandad Bluff. Continuing south into Vernon County, Eric marvels at the natural splendor of the scenic byway. His journey takes him to Viroqua, where he makes a delightful stop at Wonderstate Coffee and enjoys a memorable dinner with Luke Zahm at the Driftless Café.
