Literally every ange project: Season 1 - Ok but the league doubts you since you just fell short of expectations Season 2 - Shock the league that doubted you Season 3 - Dominate the league that doubted you Season 4 - Dominate the league and tournaments in that league that doubted you Season 5 - Go to another league that doubts you Hopefully he signs a new contract in season 5 instead of leaves

You are literally talking about little leagues because that's the only form ange has. After watching his limited and restrictive ideas, his poor coaching and his unwillingness to adapt for an entire season UI can tell you categorically that Ange will almost certainly be gone by christmas 2024. After rolling out every excuse under the sun this season, he'll have nowhere to hide net season and if we maintain this 10th place form (that has been going on for 6.5 months already) Levy will be forced to pull the trigger. The biggest weakness at spurs has been the shocking standard of coaching (both in defence and attack) and I dont believe ange will improve that this summer. Im of the view that we are going to spend money this summer on a coach that doesnt know how to organize or drill and attack or defence and we'll be stuck with his duds for a long time.

Literally every Spurs project: Season 1 - New manager bounce, fans excited after seeing new energy in the team; some big results here and there but nothing special overall to write home about Season 2 - Manager buys new players, fans hype them up, underwhelming season all things considered but still finish inside top 6 Season 3 - Frustrations continue into the new season as players seem tired and uninspired while fans continue to argue online on why Spurs are a big 6 club; manager goes on a rant and leaves after finishing 8th in the table It’s da history of da tottenham.

@@M4NA5 you dont know what your talking about. Theres a first season bounce and the wheels cone off in the second season when everyone realises the manager was just a motivational speaker with sh1t and outdated football ideas. In the last 20 years or so only 2 managers have gotten a 3rd season - Redknapp and Poch... Ange just extended Timo Werner so it doesnt bode well for him next season..

Ange will not last the season because his tactics and the club's recruitment approach are not aligned. On the one hand you have a coach using ambitious, idealistic football tactics - that probably worked in Scotland because the quality of his Celtic team individually and collectively was levels above the rest of the competition including Rangers. If Tottenham follow through with their rumoured massive clear out and new mediocre signings they have been linked with (as is the norm), the new mediocre team will need time to gel and this is a luxury Tottenham could only afford in Ange's first season. Last season's opening run of games is largely the reason Spurs managed 5th, but once Ange's tactics were found out the team suffered humiliating defeats ;like the 4-0 losses to Fulham, Newcastle & Astob Villa and laboured to get results even against the likes of Luton and Forest. Ange has an idealistic approach where he thinks he knows how he wants his team to play but in order to translate that onto the pitch, he will either need Tottenham to be playing at the Championship/SPL level or for them to get the calibre of players that will make the Premier League feel like the Championship/SPL. Players such as Palinha in place of Bissouma or Isak in place of Richarlison. But as usual, Levy will target little known - low ambition - average - injury prone - promising at best but far from world class players (such as Solomon, Gil, Sarr, Udogie) from financially struggling-relagation mentality riddled teams; and this is the bad news (reality) all of Ange's predecessors had to deal with. The fall out will be spectacular! Tottenham would probably perform better with a more conservative, compact at the back, counter attacking coach that mirrors the club's conservative recruitment style: no marquee world class signings are coming and the whole must be greater than the sum of its parts defensively and in attack.

Let’s go back to doing what Spurs normally do then. Shall we? Pal, “Spursy “was defined in the dictionary way before Ange took the reigns. How about you let Ange lead you out of the fog that Spurs find themselves in. You don’t know better than Ange is the same way that the mid west didn’t know better than Henry Ford . Henry Ford never asked people what they wanted because he know that all they would have told was that they wanted faster horses. Leave it to Ange. He will lead Spurs to success with his players. He is a master in recruiting the right players to suit his system. Ange has not been found out. Your loses late in the season coincide with Werner being injured. He assisted a lot of goals from the wing and was missed late on the season.
@Marcus-mm8yr
@Marcus-mm8yr 24 күн бұрын
@@KK-qi6mt Ange was found out does not infer to his tactics being poor per se, it’s more a realization by opponents of the weaknesses within his system because of the responsibility placed by the system on incompetent players. The quality of crosses from Udogie and Porro for example, how easy are they to defend. The hold up play of Son/Richarlison/Kulu at 9, and link up play - the reason we were so miserable away. Vicario at set pieces another major weakness in the system that dented Spurs season. At the end of the day, I am not a Spurs supporter but I watch a lot of football across many leagues as part of my job. These are my observations and the comment may not age well if somehow Tottenham unleash some hidden gems for cheap whether by luck or through a data driven approach. Time will tell.
@KK-qi6mt

@@Marcus-mm8yr Let’s call Ange’s system AngeBall. AngeBall is all about outworking, outrunning, outthinking your opponent and opening up the play (especially late in the game) beating your opponent into exhaustion and submission. AngeBall creates goal scoring opportunities. So you don’t need that $200 million striker. The goals come from everywhere. Kane would have been a hinderance to the whole system. Whether Ange has the cattle to execute his plan in the EPL remains to be seen. The “set play” situation is a confidence issue. It is not playing a high line issue. Enough of the team are not confident enough and they just leak goals. Contrast this to the start of the season when they we’re all playing with swagger and weren’t coping goals from set plays. I recall when Ange took over Celtic they leaked goals and then he fixed the problem by recruiting Joe Hart and CArter Vickers and some Sweedish player next to him and a Croatian international. All of a sudden Celtic had the confidence to play on the front foot. In the back end of the season the wingers weren’t stretching the defenders. Werner was missed. He makes burning and running past defenders look easy. I don’t know why he gets so much hate when his job is to assist goals. The soft goals that Spurs conceded is an easy fix. It is much harder to establish a goal scoring machine (which Ange has done in the EPL). There is upside to Spurs under Ange. I don’t like Sonny on the wing. He over touches the ball and it all fizzles out. But that is just my opinion. The jury is out on Kulu.

If you look at Maddison goals/assist in his first season at Spurs it could have been better. I think it is his lowest in many years. 4 goals and 9 assist in 28 games. 10 and 12 goals previous years

Don't forget that Madders won the FA cup with Leicester. While you look at his performance, remember that we're F'ng Spurs and we haven't been winning silverware in 16 years. We can't solely blame players individually for our failures. Blame the Owners for not backing our previous managers with the quality to have great seasons.
