As a spurs fan this is near perfect. However Ange ball definitely has the width as very wide and low crosses. Also the wingers don’t invert they hug the touch line and deliver low crosses.

Mentality of this tactic? From the squad instructions you are giving the tactic a very high intensity, unsustainable for a season.
