I've had several customers do this and no reported issues :)

You would not want to do this to autographed posters. Short term damage might be OK, but long term damage who knows. Any poster that you have signed could potentially be worth thousands in the future, depending upon what they are. In museums and art galleries they use certain lights and do not allow flash photography so think about that. It is not worth risking anything that you can pass on in the future to your kids. I mean imagine a Marilyn Monroe autographed poster how much that would be worth now.

These frames are lit by standard LED which emit less UV rays and heat than natural daylight. These rays are what would damage your posters over time, and again there are none to speak of from the frame, so they would be safe for the most valuable posters as far as light exposure goes… There are LED lights that produce UV rays (UV LED) but those are for industrial/institutional use… And museums prohibit flash photography mostly to protect copyrights.

One-sided posters will always look a little washed out being backlit. Double sided posters are meant to be backlit, so are always most ideal in a light box.

Bob Colo yes, the colors look more saturated, the dark hues are more true, however you can use a single sided poster as well, they still look good. If you want more of a 3D feel to your poster, ds is the way to go. I have limited ability to get some variety of ds 27x40 movie posters, do you already have one? no need a thick frame ? just thin frame like i saw on your video ? when i go to made custom frame in my country i mean indonesia there is glass no plastic (sorry if my english language bad), let's see if i can find material other than glass. i think your idea was great so inspired: beacause almost impossible i buy glow box because problem of the shipping, but your video are so nice :)

We have them made in our warehouse. If you need a replacement for whatever reason, Home Depot and local home repair shops should have it available to cut to your desired dimensions.

+El pollito Guapo you can place whatever poster (27x40) you would like, and switch out at anytime, I have seen single sided and double sided in them, the DS give it a more 3-D pop effect, both can be used though. you can use any print, however the DS 27x40 posters and graphics printed on to duratran (which we can do) look the best, SS posters still look good, the color saturation isn't as deep and vivid.
