I wander if the Coaches ever have a meeting with themselves on what is going on. We as fans can see what's happening. They should be able to figure it out. Imagine how much better the Coordinator's would be if they literally informed each other of all of their flaws in their play calls and personnel. Bringing NIck Emmanwori down in coverage against Pearsal was a terrible decision and it also costed us the game. NIck's strength is being able to read a defense and then making a move which is why he is a pure safety. He can't do that lined up like a CB. He's also still not at top speed because of that hamstring injury in week one. I like Clayton White but this defense even though young and not at full strength is not it. Most of them look lost and don't play with instincts. The secondary is always in reaction mode and when we are blitzing there is never anyone in the middle of the field to stop the quick slant or roll out. I think Clayton is gone at the end of the year.

At this point i feel bad for spencer rattler. Hes wasting his talents and his final college season on this team that cant hold it together. The offensive side of the ball was superior to previous games but the defense was all out abysmal. The portal will be lighting up at the end of the season. Our talent will move on to better teams

Finally get the offense where they can score and the defense goes backwards. An average defense with the offensive play we got yesterday would have easily won. I appreciate that the coaches "know" what needs to be fixed, but so do most of us. The difference is we don't get paid megabucks to make it happen. Either the coaches cannot coach to an SEC level, the players are not SEC level, or both! No excuses for guys missing so many assignments and leaving Pearsall wide open THE WHOLE GAME. This would SHOULD hurt real bad in the locker room... Feel bad for Rattler and the offense who played well enough to win. Better fix it quick or the rest of the games are going to be just as ugly...

Pressure was decent only occasionally (esp. Hemingway, good game) but overall too friendly/passive(?). -- Get X the ball more? Send Harbor long while using X as a Debo Samuel type (yards-after-the-catch) receiver.
