Mizzou fam/alum here. I was so impressed by your Gators tonight. They showed so much character and they punched the Tigers back where a lot of teams have folded - see last weeks Tennessee game for example. Your players and coaches showed a lot to class, even in a disappointing loss. You came to Columbia and had us on the ropes on national TV. One or two lucky breaks that go the other way and the Gators very easily come out victorious. You should be proud of your program. I think you guys will be very scary in the coming years.

I wish you guys had shown the same class. Great team but was confused by their actions at the games end. Maybe there’s more to it but to run to your opponents bench after a game and do their know celebration instead of attempting to shake hands was quite embarrassing to watch. Usually things like that are a reflection of the head coach.

You have more talent on your team than most the teams on your schedule, you should not have a losing record in yr 2 barring extreme circumstances, you should not have extended losing streaks at the end of the season. Pointing to closely contested losses against teams you should beat based on talent level doesn't show progress, it just shows that you're not fulfilling your potential. You can't blame other fans for being unhappy. You have Oklahoma and Texas joining the conference next yr and somehow you still have to win more games and 1 extra victory next season is not gonna be enough even though every thinks you will do worse. The bottom line is winning. In the famous words of Herm Edwards “you play to win the game”! 4 and 17. End of story! Btw, does Napier realize that the UF colors are ORANGE and BLUE? Why the heck is he always wearing black?

Billy we never blamed Mertz. We blamed your play calling and clock management. Play calling was on and off...again. More run sweeps would help and the offense plays better in spread. Buttt hey I'm not getting paid to coach.

4th and 17 should cost someone their job. Player and coach.

We need to manage 2 minute drives at the end of the half better. Wasted possession could've gotten a field goal. But proud of the team hard excited for the future 🐊

Poor coaching again. A lot of talent on this team. HC is going to drive all the talent away. Napier got to go.

Way to freaking go Scott Stricklin. I’d rip every damn tribute to Jeremy Foley down if it were up to me. How that guy casual fans to think he was amazing AD is just so baffling.

We’ve always respected Mertz but the lack of coaching and making the defense get better, that’s another story.

Hell of a game. I wish we were able to pull it off and go into the FSU with some more confidence. But I am proud of how they played.

Should tried to get td instead of fg on last drive and ate more clock.I have seen this situation a thousand times pro and college-what are the coaches thinking?????

If Saban's DC loses the game on a 4th and 17, he's giving that guy a serious axx chewin on National TV

It’s Sunday at 1:30 pm and I keep looking at my phone for breaking news. 😂😂. What is taking so long? Are they really going to wait for him to lose next week before firing him?!!!!!

😒.. i hope all the defensive positions are open for comp this off season

Put playback speed at 1.25. Much easier to listen to Napier…

It's sad when the standard now is morale victories. True Gators fans know this is unacceptable, and last night should've been a W. The team showed a ton of grit, but bottom line its 4 L's in a row, and FSU w/o Travis and us now w/o Mertz doesnt look so good.

How do you still have that many penalties in week 11 coach? That’s 100% on you.

I’m so disappointed in our defense we can’t even tackle this ridiculous and he right we have no leadership something has to change.
