Yeah I mean everyone can list many different reasons but to me it all comes down to communication and quick decision making… I feel that when Derick is on the floor the offense just flows much better and links all the different talents on this squad in a more cohesive way. Having two high iq scrappy ball handling guards is what this group needs to really execute down the stretch. You can just feel the synergy between white and holiday maximizing both of their skill sets. Individually they’re not exactly the perfect traditional point guards but together they fully fill that role and much more

Too many ISO down the stretch and they went away from KP. The wolves are also a nightmare match up in the paint, they have bigs that can match up easily with KP

And that ISO doesn’t really work like it should unless all 5 starters are on the floor including d white. This team obviously needs to learn how to move the ball and screen at a higher level even with all the starters… I mean they can go with isolation at certain times when those 5 are out there, but it should not become a habit they default to

@@ramzeezthamightygod ISO was their downfall last year.. they would resort to ISO late game when they have a big lead..that’s the reason also they can’t win close games. I hope Jrue will solve this ISO issues and be more of a floor general late game, thats why they brought him here right.

Teams in the playoffs tend to lean on what they’re most used to, so they really gotta stay away from it all season if they’re truly stepping up to that next level. I thought they did a good job closing the nets game and Derick white was a big part of that, but definitely something to keep watching for

Derick white will be the primary defender on Anthony Edwards. D white guards the shifty quick guards Jrue guards the tougher stonger match ups. These two together cuase so many turnovers and defensive stops. Together they would lock up Ant as best as anyone can

Horford, Pritchard, and Mazzulla lost us this game. Horford was pathetic, Pritchard is asking for minutes he doesn't deserve, and Mazzulla should have called timeout at the end of the 4th. Not to mention that playing Al in OT might be the worst coaching decision he'll make all year.

This lost to the Wolves add to my point.. that Boston needs a Two guard/ small forward to rotate off the bench. Right now Boston has too many power forward/ centers. They have Steven Lamar.. but didn't use him. They can't depend on Banton. Boston should look into Hamidou Diallo or someone to add in to rotate.. Boston has no one to play the two when Brown sits down. Great game for the Wolves.. a matchup issue lost for Boston.

@@CaLiMaN408 I have been obstinately against this but I think you are right. I really feel that the right people are on the bench in Stevens, Oshae, and Queta but Mazzulla refuses to use them. I think Pritchard should have gotten the start over Horford. Pritchard, Holiday, Brown, Tatum and Porzingis would have had a different dynamic and allowed them to play a similar style to when they have White. I just question the coach's decision-making and substitutions.

Most teams just don’t have the tenacity and speed to counter the Cs in how they sniff out favorable mismatches like a mf… but I guess the Timberwolves height helps a ton in that area as well since there’s less options for Celtics to exploit

Tbh. Minnesota is a great team but they would need to play lights out every night and boston would have to injuries to key contributors like white, and everything would have to go perfect for the wolves to have a chance against boston in a 7 game series. Y'all act like Minnesota is this juggernaut now because they beat 2 top teams in the regular season 😂😂. You also got to remember, Minnesota chokes in games that REALLY MATTER & play good when it don't matter. Not worried. I'd still take boston in a 7 game series 10 times out of 10! Plus, y'all have to remember, this is the closest thing to a playoff atmosphere that Minnesota fans will ever really get to experience.
