This is the best era of the show for me. The calm Woodland style, the original theme song, lack of music in the episodes, and realistic background sound effects!

This is the version of Postman pat I grew up watching. The theme tune for series 2 is the best one! Many happy memories watching this with my grandparents all them years ago.

One of my plans for my acting/writing career is to bring back Postman Pat in the calm/gentle John Cunliffe style with a new series of 13 episodes (or maybe more series depends on how successful it goes), and this is the intro music I want to use.
