She's classically trained in opera and can belt out a song like nobody's business. Her version of "Dream On" is amazing. Also, you NEED to hear her doing "Barbie Girl" by Aqua in the style of the Beach Boys. She imitates a Theremin with her voice. You need to hear it to understand. Haley and Morgan are two of my favorite singers. They both have that "certain something." Anything by either of them is definitely worth the listen. And let's not sleep on Ariana Savalas. I would like to amplify another offering from lower in the thread from Morgan James. Her 70's soul cover of Maroon 5's 'Maps' is out of this world. So much soul in that lovely, unassuming package. Follow that up with her EPIC cover of 'Dream On' and you'll see why we love her.

You could check out some of the PMJ covers with Robyn Adele Anderson. She did many of the vocals for PMJ when it got started, in fact, probably more than any other vocalist, but now has her own channel. Good ones to try are "Gangsta's Paradise", "I Put a Spell on You", "Love", "Lullaby of Birdland", but there are many others.

Casey Abrams was from American Idol the same season as Haley. Morgan has appeared on Broadway.

This was the first PMJ that I saw and came across it quite accidentally. While listening to the first singer Haley Reinhart (whom I've heard of because of American Idol), I just couldn't take my eyes off the second singer, Morgan James. When Morgan stepped up and sang, "I'm bringing booooty back" my jaw dropped. Haley has that sexy little growl, which I love. But Morgan's power, range and clarity is amazing. As soon as the song was over I had to find more about her. I love Haley but 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 Morgan! If I may suggest, check these songs from Morgan out as well. Maps, Maroon 5 - I'll be honest here. I hadn't heard Maroon 5's Maps before I listened to Morgan's cover of it. IMO, Morgan does it so much better! @ Call My Name, Prince - Prince rarely gives permission to record his songs but within 5 minutes of hearing Morgan's cover, he said yes. @ Dream On, Aerosmith - The first two times I listened to this, I couldn't get Steven Tyler's voice out of my head. It wasn't until the third time that I could really appreciate Morgan's version. Now I love it. @ Ain't No Way, Aretha Franklin - Morgan holds a note for an amazing 24 seconds @ into the video. Frisson every time! @ And just for the fun of it, here's one that I recorded the first time I saw her in concert at The Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis, MN doing her title track Reckless Abandon. @ So yeah, I'm a Morgan fan. Big time.

My favorite PMJ is Say My Name. It's so good. But honestly, you can't go wrong with any of their covers. PMJ's cover of Since You Been Gone is amazing too.

Who's this? (face like "omg there's another girl like Haley....") That my friend, would be the amazing Morgan James, actually, all three ladies are amazing. I ADORE Haley, absolutely, she's the real deal, the complete package for me, but so are Morgan James and Ariana Savalas, they are all ridiculously talented. If you're curious about the blonde lady (Morgan) then you really need to check out her PMJ songs like Dream on, Maps, Take me to church and (on her own) Hallelujah, she will blow you away, just like Haley. Another lady from Postmodern Jukebox who deserves attention is the lady with who this all started, Robyn Adele Anderson, she did more playful songs you could say. For her i would suggest songs like Thrift shop, Blurred lines, We cant stop and Talk dirty (very funny Yiddish version) Casey ofc has great songs too, but for now i'll leave the focus on Morgan and Robyn (but make sure to check out Ariana, Casey and more of Haley as well!!!) Scott Bradley who is the guy behind the piano and all these songs and arrangements is a musical genius, Postmodern Jukebox is a collective of ridiculously talented people who deserve all the attention (and fame they got by now) they can get, this is real music with a twist, a wink of the eye.
