Morgan James is unbeatable at this kind of singing. Blues, Jazz, Soul, Gospel... I've never heard a voice quite like hers.

Scott Bradlee is the genius behind PMJ. He's the piano player, arranger and assembles all the talent. It's a deep rabbit hole.

Great reaction! PMJ features different singers. IMO, two of their best are Morgan and Haley Reinhart. Each has sung 6 or 7 songs, and all of them are fantastic. You should react to Creep featuring Haley and All About That Bass featuring both of them.

When Morgan does that knee lift, you know she's meaning business. She's a graduate of Julliard as an opera singer, and it shows.

Saw her in concert last year. Told her after the show, "I think I just saw Steven Tyler waving a white flag." Check her versions of Hallelujah and Sledgehammer.

The first time I heard this cover I just couldn't get Steven Tyler's voice out of my head. It wasn't until I listened for the third time that I could truly appreciate Morgan's cover. I've been a BIG fan of Morgan since 2014 and I absolutely LOVE her!!! Morgan studied opera at Julliard (her classical training is why she has those big pipes) and has performed on Broadway (Motown, The Musical, Godspell, The Addams Family and others). Under the wing of Berry Gordy Jr. (of Motown Records), she was signed under Epic Records and released two albums. She decided to break out on her own and started Hedonist Records LLC as an Indy. great reaction guys. morgan james is an amazing powefull singer and performer and fits perfectly with the postmodern jukebox (aka. pmj) family. however, this performance takes her to another level and is her best one... imho. the string arrangement is also superb. the way the guy on the cello plucks it like a guitar after her first run is super cool (never seen that before). as good as this is though it's not their absolute best, for that i highly recommend "creep" with haley reinhart. it is a masterpiece and maybe one the best covers ever done of any song. 😎

One of my favorite KZfaq covers from a rock song is Should I Stay Or Should I Go by The Cooltrane Quartet. Like this song, it puts a totally different spin on a classic. If you're going to redo something, make it your own.
