I know this sounds hard to believe, but the live version blows this out of the water. When he launched into that impossible key, the entire Microsoft Theater jumped their feet to give him a standing ovation. It was a really special moment.

This version is so uplifting I didn’t realise I was smiling so wide until my mouth started feeling strained- I been listening to this song for so long and how he sung it is literally how I always felt in my mind the song was really like (do I make sense anymore ? ). I'd like to state as a singer that this song is incredibly difficult for women. To men it's extra. Balanced, equalised and flexible voice. Gave me church vibes, aleluia!! Terrific job with the arrangement plus I cannot remember the last time the ENTIRE band looked completely into it

Damn their singers and bands are just far beyond than expected for a channel that has 4million subscribers, yet the quality they give deserves more than that numbers.

One of the reasons the PMJ versions of the songs sound better to my ears is that they use more sophisticated and complex chords than the original songs...more jazzy and fully-rendered. Also REAL instruments sound better than sequencers and drum machines! Those high notes were UNREAL! The band starts smiling at that point too!

I love how all the musicians around him are vibing from the very first moment, looking at him with big cheesy grins, just genuinely enjoying working with a vocalist of such prowess. I imagine they were also pretty happy with how good that arrangement was, but yeah... Damn.

Something that is so obvious in this video is how everybody on the stage were enjoying it so much. I listen to this amazing cover every day and I am still blown away by this performance. ♥
