morganite actually good too for phantasm spiral because it only prohibits hand-effect monsters, not S/T sooo yeah

I was the umi player, wanted you to attack so I could activate I've barrier then evenly matched from the hand, hence the double called by the graves 😂

FYI Fenrir Unicorn and Ogre are inherent summon conditions not activated effects so the morganite restriction of “activating” monster effects in the hand, you’re not activating Fenrir’s effect, you’re using his summon condition, so you absolutely can run kashtiras just not Scareclaw Kash, Tear Kash, and Riseheart’s effect to special (can still normal tho)

I've used this card a lot myself, built an interesting madolche deck around it. while it is true you cannot use effects in hand kastira fenrir and some others are what is know as an inherent summon, which is a summon method and not an effect. this includes kaijus too. makes for some really interesting tech choices for decks using this card. also imperm does a lot of work cause it is a trap and can still be activated from hand :3

Very interesting! You just improved my umi white aura stall deck's draw power! 😎 Therefore figure I might also share another way to increase draw power for water decks assuming you can adequately defend your monsters. Use tunaful princess to summon lifeless leafish to summon fairy of the ghoti next turn summon abyss dweller ( link 2 fish) to summon fairy of the ghoti next turn summon anemone marincess to summon same abyss keeper to summon ghoti fairy and summon the link 4 marincess of the bubble reef. With this you draw 1 card every standby phase if you yoyo your ghoti fairy fish netting you 2 extra cards aside from your draw cards, namely your 2 from morganite 😎 for a total of 4 cards per turn. I use sea stealth umi ( token one ) skill drain along with wall of revealing light to defend my monsters and myself lol. Sea stealth helps me play around skill drain as long as I'm using water monsters. Edit: subs up 👍 ohh warning as well which I forgot to mention. If you activate too many effects during any standby phase, in Yu-Gi-Oh Master duel your ghoti fish may not revive itself. Make sure you are activating effects only after marincess banishes your fish again for that sweet sweet extra draw power 🤑

Red reboot is not very good for Umi i would say. Usually you want to OTK on the turn you reboot since it lets opponent set from deck and reuse that negated trap next turn. Since Umi control is not a very big OTK machine i think you can do without it.

I subbed to you months ago, because you made interesting Umi deck, with idea to "play it when I pull kragen from legacy". Few months later: still no kragen, I have other Umi cards and Morganite but Kragen, I refuse to craft a legacy card, so this will have to wait for now...

You can run Fenrir with morganite, it's summon is not an activeted effect, so no problem.

Morganite double summon , would it work genex undine send a water monster from deck to gy then u can add a free vanilla tuner which u can summon nd make a synchro lv 6, idk im from old school this might be weak nowadays. One the Paleo trap cards send a trap card from deck to gy for ice barrier although that's pretty slow lol

My favorite play with TTM is in my stun deck when I have Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo and Inspector Boarder in my hand I can summon both of them and lock down basically any deck.

I really thought morganite was going to be a good card in my blue-eyes deck, maybe a control version of it but I’d doubt it since jet dragon does activate from the hand… same with heavenly prison

Tremora is pretty redundant when you have a double summon every turn, cheating out kairyu-shin without a tribute is the reason it's played in the first place

The way the effect is worded they both say to draw 2 cards instead of 1. So no you'll only draw 2.

It is more like Jar of Greed every turn, because you would have drew 1 card for turn any ways so it is only one additional card. =P

When your draw step is pot of greed you use pot of greed to draw 2 additional cards. Pot of greed goes to the gy giving you +1 cards in hand. Jar of greed goes +0. Therefore this is pot of greed every turn.
