2AM in the night ended up craving for Potato Joen after watching Youth MT Yoojung unnie cooking it. It really got me craving with the crisp and it looks so yumm. Imma cook now hahaha

What makes this video is the Korean trot music playing in the background at the end. :) The potato pancake looks simple but good. I bet that sauce with the onion went with it very well.

Essentially a gigantic circular fried chip! Excellent!! (Though I'd have mixed the potato with some beaten egg - which is what I'll have a go at doing right now!)

My Korean aunt use to make us some form of a potato cake when we was young kids. That was probably 25 years ago since I've had it. I've craved it since. I will try this and see if this is what she use to make us. I do remember it had chunks of potato, shaped like a pancake and we dipped it in soy sauce. I hope this is it.

味付けもなしでじゃがいも100%なんですね、タレは甘酢醤油なのかな。フライパンを使う理由は同じ大きさにするためなのかな。あちらでは調理中に手で触るのも普通なのかな、調理用の使い捨てグローブもありそう。色々不思議だけど美味しそう。
