Dude, this was a movie where an entire crew was replaced with CGI and it looked really convincing.

@@kabeltelevizio It wasn't entirely computer generated. Real actors performed with mocap suits and dots on their faces. CGI models were then built and applied on top of these actors.

The Black Pearl was a great villain ship and felt like such a great ghost ship in the original

@@Hartsinck1 Agreed, but of course when the curse was broken, the Pearl became a mortal ship, but somehow retained her formal qualities and abilities… still being the fastest ship in the high seas for one… she out ran the Dutchman while it was attacking her.

You even had the abbility to go on the actual ship, but poorly enough it's been dismanteled.

Even better, the Flying Dutchman was based on a actual ship called VASA located at VASA Museum, it's a real ship that sunk on it's maiden voyage in 1628. Taken down a lot of soldiers and civilians with it, probably the reason they chose this ship as the carrier of death. You can Google it and see the resemblance.

they had it at an island at the Bahamas for people to see. it was a place for disney cruise ships so they put the dutchman there, then they dismantled her in 2016. the dmtnt dutchman was mainly cgi and probably a model of the deck when henry and will talk
