this but with a stereo potentiometer is useful to drive a second circuit inependently. Example a synth / oscillatior which uses a potentiometer (first row), then the second row of the potentiometer is used to drive this led circuit. I have seen this on some Audio/Midi controller, example dribbble.com/shots/1340782-Mini-Midi-Controller

Learning / Build Idea Research - is it possible to have this setup but also have a secondary potentiometer designated for dimming? Here is the theory - Potentiometer or Rotary encoder to control a blower fan motor, LEDs to display level of power/speed 0-100%, and dimmer switch - is it possible?

hello I stand on the hose the 1k resistor is supposed to pin from pin 7 to 2,4,8 and 7?

LED -> IC 1 -> 1 2 -> 18 3 -> 17 4 -> 16 5 -> 15 6 -> 14 7 -> 13 8 -> 12 9 -> 11 10 -> 10 IC Pin 9 is Bar/Dot mode "switch"
