I'm just miffed that Battletrap has never had any significant role in any Transformers fiction. Flywheels got to fight zombies alongside Ultra Magnus in Marvel UK, and was a religious nutcase who got brutally murdered in IDW. When is Battletrap gonna get some love???

BattleUp Saber When Battletrap gets his own miniseries. It was another day for Battletrap the background Decepticon until Primus said to him in his status charge that the multiverse is in danger from the wrath of Devil-Z and only he can save it with the assistance of Browning, the manta ray decepticon headmaster, the bot with a head similar to Sixshot's that turns into a GI Joe vehicle, Battle Gaia, Artfire, Stepper, Road Rage, Crosscut, Galaxy Shuttle and Barry the Rescue Engine as he goes on an adventure of a lifetime. A tale of romance, friendship and courage as we see Battletrap be the hero we never knew we wanted. Also Quake appears and he doesn't die for once. Coming soon to Starbase 24...

The "Platinum Edition" reissue of G1 Blitzwing appears to be inspired by Flywheels. Same brown and red colour-scheme.

Undrave if I remember correctly Funpub tried to do Flywheels from Blitzwing but it was too hard to work with that mold, on account of all the rubbery plastic. Or at least that's what they claimed

I always find myself coming back to this video. Maybe its the rock montage transformations, The uninhibited joy throughout the review, or the excellent memory i have of finding the scout pair in the wild. Good times all around.

Great review as always Mr. Thew! I was smiling the entire duration of the video as I too have enjoyed every single bit of fun that these two bots offer. With regards to the arm kibble of battleslash, I imagine it as small battle axes which he can quickly equip in battle.

As a kid who owned generations battle slash. I honestly like how “off” he is. Particularly the copter mode, I used to imagine the combiner port as a giant laser cannon, and he’d glide around shooting huge beams like a bossfight in a top down shooter

I finally got Roadtrap a few days ago on Amazon I’ve been looking in stores for months but could only ever find Battleslash. Now my good boys are complete. I do wish Battleslash’s rotor detached and could become a sword like on the box art though

There are actually two little plastic tabs towards the back of Battleslash's tail just before the fin and towards the rear of Roadtraps roof where you can plug Titan/Prime masters onto to sit them...on Battleslash you have to angle the t/p master's knees backwards due to space and they barely clear the blades

Yay, Thew's first Power of the Primes review! Also review of Battletrap through TF history. :D Though for future record about Prime Masters: The thing on Prime Master's back isn't face but make of the Prime it presents. Prime Masters are more meant to be kinda Powermasters while they Decoy Armors work like Targetmasters.

You CAN actually fold in the arms at the back in the combine mode. Its on the instructions that comes with Battleslash's box.

Picked up Battletrap for a tenner from a local boy, and I am impressed. He's a ton of fun, and it doesn't hurt that Stege Skytread came with him.

Titan masters do have mild integratation, though not good. The truck can use the prongs on the hood near the seams to plug into the calves, and the tail has a port for the heel plugs of the masters

You mistransformed the backpack for combined mode, you have to tab the arms in together so that the helicopter blade is flush against the back. I got mine a couple of days ago and they are a pretty interesting set with the combined mode being the best part of it of course, just looks so lush.

I really like this figure. I generally only collect MP and 3P MP style stuff, but couldn't resist this guy. I really want someone to take cues from this and give us some proper MP Duocons... without the individual bot modes.

The reason roadtrap has those nipples is because in vehicle mode you can attach a head-master to him, battleslash has one too, vehicle mode right next to the rear rotor

There are places to put the prime masters/ head masters on the individual vehicles, there kind of stupid, but they're there. On the helicopter, you can fold one up and there's a slot back by the tail rudder that it will fit into. On the truck, you can fold one up and there's two little rectangular pegs that peg into the prime masters legs.

Hey @Thew Adams you can sit Prime masters on both vehicle modes. you can sit one on the tail of the Helicopter And on the very top of the car/robot chest plate.
