Welcome! Back in early February I started my “Tiny Tomato Project” which is where I sowed 11 (yes 11!) different micro dwarf tomato seeds. These micro dwarf tomatoes stay so small, you can keep them in a 1 gallon or less pot in your yard or patio, or even a balcony! I’m excited to get these guys potted up and into some sun where I will anxiously await the fruits of my labor! 😆🍅 Enjoy!

I bought a micro~ dwarf tomato plant last spring and the squirrels ate it 😢😂 I want to give it another try this spring 2023 but I need a cloche or some kind of cover to protect them.🍅🍅🍅 Thank you for sharing your video and all the different varieties.

As you can see from the order of my comments I'm still catching up on all your videos, ha! I love these tomato varieties and would love to try a few. The inkspot specifically looks really yummy for some reason. 🍅 I also love the cute pot shelf, however, I think you need to kick that right leg out a bit more, the tilting was making me crazy, haha! I hope I'm not the only one. 🤪 Can't wait to see the growth on the "Tiny Tomato Town!" And how cute would one of these look in the girl's fairy garden!

I'm very excited to follow along with this project! We don't have many full sun spots here (except the middle of the front lawn 😜) so this is a perfect way for me to just tuck tomatoes into sunny pockets here and there.

I used fish fertilizer waaay back in the 70s on my house plants. All my friends did too, I guess it was the thing for 20-somethings. We were in apartments mostly and in SoCal so the windows stayed open on the watering days 😉😹😹. Thx for the little trip down memory lane 😘.

Sooooooo yes to the stinky fertilizer. I made the mistake of leaving some in my watering can that I used on my seedlings ....the next morning I went in there and thought something had died. I will always dump the leftovers from now on !!!! Good luck with the tomatoes . I can't wait to see what the plants yield !!!

I love to grow the micro dwarf tomato plants. I've got a bunch of them in starter pots waiting to go into their permanent pots in a week or two. I've grown them in gallon sized flower pots and in gallon sized fabric pots, and there doesn't seem to be any difference in how they grow in the two kinds of containers.

My 4 year old son now sings along with your intro song whenever I watch your videos! Lol those are really cool tomatoes! Would have been nice to have those a couple years ago when I was renting our house and our landlord didn’t want us to garden. So I did container garden on the deck and trying to grow 8 foot tomato plants was interesting! I took twin and tied them to our roof to keep them upright 😂

I’m in Queensland Australia and it’s too hot here to grow many veggies & fruits in our summer so I’ve got my seedlings chugging along for winter and one of the ones I’m most excited for is a Tiny Tomato too. Thanks for showing the difference between starter fertilizer and none. I was wondering if it made a big difference. My daughter and I are growing regular cherry tomatoes from see this year. It is the only type of tomato she will eat. We may try these next season. Great video!

Fun little experiment! It almost looked like there was a bigger root system on the unfertilized plants, maybe because they had to search for nutrients a bit more? Very interesting! I love your little shelf for the pots! I know I say it every time I watch your videos but I swear your garden has the most appealing layout! You have such an eye for it! 😍

I love garden experiments, it will still be interesting to see how those tomatoes preform over summer. Plus you'll have tomatoes sooner off the started fertilizer plant. Jenny did a starter soil last yr, Jiffy vs Espoma, Jiffy won.

I triple that concern!! I’m going to try to limit how much water runs out the bottoms of the tomato pots but I don’t have much other space to put these guys so hopefully the bougainvillea will be ok! I’m basically going to stop all other watering on that particular plant. Tough love!! 😆💗

I ordered from Renaissance to try to get some dwarf tomato seeds. Not sure what has happened to Curtis but I paid with PayPal but never received any order confirmation. My payment went thru but any emails I sent to Curtis never got answered. According to his fb page he is a "scam". I fear something has happened to Curtis & he is no longer in business. I requested & received a refund from Paypal. But, you should probably quit recommending him. FYI

I love that you did the fertilizer experiment! I am moving away from fertilizers with the exception of fish emulsion and learning to use nature as a fertilizer. When I started looking at the cost of these fertilizers I was questioning the ridiculous cost of growing my own food! Hi Bonnie! No its not too late here! Most of these varieties are 60-70 days to maturity so you have plenty of time until it gets too cold! Happy planting! 💕
