Good haul with good prices Maria,we usually buy Persil Colour Protect and Lenor for our laundry,I get 15% staff discount in Morrisons and every couple of months we get a 20% discount week and that's when we stock up on the bigger things, out of all the different flavours of fizzy juice we got as kids dandelion and burdock was the only one I didn't like,I think my favourite was cream soda especially when you put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in the glass and made an iced drink

That's a good idea to stock up when you have your discount. I liked cream soda, I've never tried it with ice cream though, I can imagine that was lovely 😊

Good haul Maria I liked the 56 day pods I use surf soap powder I get through it so quickly I’m always washing and fabric conditioner as well there is a bathroom cleaner they sell on Amazon I think it’s called fig and it’s organic no harsh chemicals I don’t like using bleach either thanks Maria see ya tomorrow ❤️😊👍🏻

I can't cope with chemicals. I'd make my own cleaners if it wasn't for Dean who seems to like all of the different sprays. I just leave him to it now. Thank you for watching 😊

Morning Maria, it's amazing what all this stuff costs and adds to our budget. I like certain cleaning things by the originals like fairy liquid but I've had to cut back with other things. I don't mind lidles own in some things but not all. You got a good haul though Maria. It all adds up don't it? One of your peeps mentioned cream soda with ice cream, we loved that as kids as a treat on Friday evening in the summer. The cream soda then was in glass bottles but the new stuff doesn't taste the same, have a lovely day.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Yes it all adds up. I try and stick to getting our cleaning and toiletries once a month, normally at the beginning of the month. Our poundland and b&m are next door to each other which is handy as I can nip between the two and buy the offers depending which has got them cheaper. I like cream soda, but I've never had ice cream in it.

Hello, I have done similar shop today , we went into home bargains , can only seem to get one cup tea bags from them , when I have coffee hubby has tea. kitchen rolls as well , got a good few things in the end. 🙂

I've never tried home bargains. I'll have to have a trip into another town to try them one day. I can do a farmfoods shop too if I go to my next bigger town. Dean is our coffee drinker and I'm tea. I don't mind the odd coffee made with all milk, but I couldn't drink coffee all day, especially first thing in the morning like my husband does.

Hi Maria, you got some good guys there. The same thing happened to me when i was about 14, 55 years ago. I went to clean the outside toilet and not realising i chucked 2 different products down the toilet and the funds nearly knocked me out. I was in our local Poundland today just for a look round. We haven't got a B&M now, it closed down

I hate chemicals. I'm not mad on spraying perfume either. I tend to get someone to spray it on my back so the smell isn't under my nose. I find it sets my acid off too. I'd be devastated if our b&m closed down, it's my favourite shop.

Stop buying brands Maria, especially Bleach much cheaper for a different brands & fairy liquid your just paying for the name… I got out the habit & I save loads of money. Xx

I think it's an inherited trait. My mum always bought these brands, so I do too. Old habits die hard! Lol.
