I had a friend that had one he got rid of it after he got his second ticket the judge said he still had to have a license to operate on the streets.

What? I would have gotten an attorney for that. They are not fast enough to be classified as a car, and they are listed with the bmv as a mobility scooter.

It would be interesting to see the battery going down in a real time long drive….at night with all the lights on….in the rain with the windshield wiper on as well - up and down some hills as would happen in real driving, with someone in the back recording. Like about 1 hour of continuous driving under these circumstances. I’ve not seen any videos like that of this vehicle and it would be interesting to see, also very helpful to potential buyers. Just a thought.

@DarkySabertooth my apologies, I misunderstood. I do get alot of comments from haters on these. I thought you meant disable these, not that you're disabled. These scooters give absolute FREEDOM. Keep watching. We have a new unit and financing is being worked on to provide to odsp clients.

Did you use '3' the entire test drive. In other Ecolo videos they have a back up camera and A/C. Are these features on this unit.

Yes absolutely. We've discussed this. The suspension is.pretty bouncy. So choose trails wisely

Can you drive this if you’re visually impaired, I live in a real area and have to go 7 miles into town for work and have to rely on my friends to take me or my coworkers, and I have to drive on a main road which leads into my next question, could it be driven on the shoulder?

I'm not physically disabled but are looking into something like this in my country because it's just a cheaper means of transport instead of an electric car in my country. Yes it may only ba able to drive 45 km/h and the battery isn't as big as in current electric vehicles but it gives a different kind of freedom.

I don't believe this vehicle is allowed on a sidewalk, disabled or not & it takes up the entire sidewalk! So who is moving out of the way, if someone in a regular old wheelchair comes along? Just asking questions! 😉

It's mobility, it's allowed on the sidewalk. What if someone has a double stroller? Same thing...gotta figure it out and be respectful.

It's a mobility scooter with a cover basically so it can be on a sidewalk especially if you have proof in case someone or a cop comes up to you

Your best bet would be to check with your local bylaw office or local government about where it’s appropriate to use these. I contacted mine and was told sidewalk was okay. Not sure anywhere but in Ontario user is classified as a pedestrian so same rules apply.
