Never played the original versions, but seeing any Trainz game from the old days gives a lot of nostalgia

I personally find thIs one more realistic than he modern Trainz games, because I think you can multi track drift, derailments we’re super realistic, and you can stay in the cab while derailed. Modern Trainz games just freeze the train in place and kick you out of the cab.

I still have Trainz UTC 2002. I bought it when I was kid and still play it today. For me it's still my all time favorite Trainz. I love how simple it was to make a railroad. Also I thought it is so awesome to just set up a railroad and when setting it to auto mode of the trains they just move along the tracks without assigning anything to them like the 2004, 06, and so on versions. But this is my opinion. But my vote goes to Trainz UTC as my favorite Trainz game.

My first Trainz game what i got in 8 years was Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004. I was playing this untill 2022 then moved on to Trainz 2009. Nice nostalgia.
