Ahh the rotator. That was the best era of the show I think. It sucked when Jamie had to get rid of it. It's been a bit tough watching the "old iron" and not seeing the exciting recoveries the rotator was capable of. In comparison, almost every truck in Heavy Rescue 401 is a rotator, lol.

You need rotators to be able to efficiently clear wrecks in the busiest highway in North America. Traffic's too packed to be able to have any leeway with other wreckers (some have 50 tons though which can steer the recovery in the company's favor sometimes)

Nice recovery. If that was on highway thru hell, that would have been rapid-replayed using four different angles and explosion sound effects.

Never understood how so many wrecks can happen. Living in the prairies I see the odd one here and there, but since running to Vancouver and back I see so many. Still dont understand why everyone drives so fast in BC. Always a cool when I pass you guys. Keep up the good work!

When it was just Jamie Davis towing and Quiring on the mountain, the expense of the loan/registration of the rotator was do able. Then the authorities opened up the heavy rescue calls to everyone, the money/usage case for one company owning a rotator just isn't there anymore. if I recall, it was $1000 a month (ore more) to register the rotator.

Thought the show was great , we got it here in the UK way behind everyone else , thought personally towards the later ones the less coverage you got guys was a bit like they abandoned the team everyone got to know , get content up or even your own time blogger ? Your daughter or office staff etc .,...... keep people involved with your operations , they started the program on you lot , keep them loyal to you and interested , won’t take a lot , even the odd live question feed like Mikey at Buffalo , you have a lot of fans don’t let them slip away

47's a single axle and he's had that since he started on heavy recovery as a teen

The single axle you saw in this video was unit #64 Peterbilt 337 with a century 3212 wrecker. I ran that truck for almost two years.
